My point was that ragga is probably the most common type of modern jungle. You don't have to look too far to find it.
>>45870824
>contains 100% pure intelligent Dum & Bass - NO JUNGLE
>>45870845
I know. There's plenty of jungle in the comp I posted - it's just that in the 90's jungle was considered anything with a chopped-up amen and ragga vocals innit, whereas jungle without ragga vocals was called d&b back then (apparently).

I don't live in the UK so maybe a britbro can tell me, but are the BBC radios that play pretty good eletronic music on free terrestrial radio? because they're so significantly better than the shit I have on the radio, it's ridiculous.

Damn does anyone have more of these guys? Only archive link is one other mash-up.
Any Huerco S. fans here? Been on a binge in recent months. So good
So I was watching adult swim and this bump with a scene of a lake and waterfall came up with some bumpin jams. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and/or can redirect me to what I'm thinking of?
Anyone know of any good deep/prog house mixes from the 90s?
Preferably mid-late 90s. Looking for old school Sasha/Digweed types stuff. Been listening to the Global Underground series and I really want to hear more prog house like this
Pic unrelated

Holy shit Luke, sorry if my new is showing, don't browse /bleep/, but where do you get so much techno
based luke
>>45906577
You mean where do I download it? Almost all of it from either funkysouls or What.
>>45906577
obv not Luke but for me I just keep updated on soundcloud/twitter/discogs for labels and then artists. If i like something a label puts out, i'll look at other releases ->find new artists, look at other labels that artist has released on -> etc, the pattern continues.
Ok, one last (small) label dump.
Overlee Assembly discography.
A new UK label focusing on straight up industrial techno bangers.

erm...
bumping this thread as it's the best on here
Any Garage in, guy?
Old, new, doesn't really matter. As long as it's new to my ears.
i just love tracks like this.

Person from shitty thread enquiring about MCMXCI:
Here are two free (official) Opal Tapes compilations for more stuff in that vein. Most of the names in the compilations have their own releases on Opal Tapes and all have full releases elsewhere on similar labels. Good place to start!
>https://opaltapes.bandcamp.com/album/various-artists-no-lotion
I wish for /bleep/ not to die.
i've just downloaded all the releases of BEB, Opal Tapes, L.I.E.S. any good labels to check out?
>>45901220
I'm friends with these guys and it's not actually them.
Massive fucking par though haha.
fell in love with this now nothing comes close
>>45920651
Try listening to all of that, first.
Then look at The Trilogy Tapes, Astro:Dynamics, Reckno, Russian Torrent Version, Berceuse Heroique, Cleaning Tapes
>>45920764
listened to this right when it came out. Found it really boring and never returned to it. Maybe I should give it another shake
test
>>45898174
it sounds like it's going to be a standard venetian snares album
a few really good tracks, the rest are lukewarm
out of the previews, only amazon and she runs seem like they're going to be standout tracks
test
Damn, i'm only just starting to notice but Jeff Mills made some beautiful stuff back in the day.
