I honestly completely agree. They let Waters have too much power, because gilmour didn't know how to keep him in his place, and wright was too quiet about it. I think waters leaving afterwards was overall a benefit for the band.

The only things that made The Wall considerably good is Gilmour's contributions to the album. I don't think Waters was capable of making The Wall by himself. If Gilmour told Waters to fuck off with the idea of The Wall, it probably would've never been made.
