ITT: albums you wish you listened to sooner
>>72549769
This is the first Swans album I've listened to all the way through. I loved it. What's your favorite song from it OP?
>>72549797
I just listened to it today (I have listened to Early Swans and Soundtracks for the Blind before) but this blew me on a whole different level.
Favorite tracks that stood out were Avatar, The Seer, A Piece of the Sky, Apostate.
>>72549797
Not OP but the sudden transition at the end of a piece of the sky blew me away
Do you think Harry Styles' obvious aspirations to become a beloved singer-songwriter are feasible considering his past as a squeaky-clean boyband member?
>>72549750
i like how they had to add a slide to the end pre chorus to simulate a build up for a "drop". skrillex killed pop music.
>>72549750
Could do well if he is smart about it, hmm.
>>72549785
It's called a buildup you fedora-tipping autist.
Do you know of any rappers with music worth listening to?

This niqqa never answered my email. Fuck him and his gay ass albums he deleted
I know /mu/ is mixed on the music, but you got to admit, the album cover is top tier
It annoys the shit out of me.
>>72549483
why
The cover is the worst part
Looks so cheesy
Anyone else really bummed they dropped 4 back-to-back future classics just to release a piece of shit right afterwards?
I mean, they had so much potential in them after Strawberry Jam. What happened?
My favorite releases are Campfire Songs, Sung Tongs and Prospect Hummer but I cannot imagine them without Strawberry Jam and MPP and like those as well. But yes, I haven't heard anything worthwhile after ODDSAC. It's really saddening. The new EP is okay tho.
change strawberry jam with and justice for all
>>72549277
how is MPP a piece of shit? just because it's their most popular and accessible album doesn't mean it's bad. painting with is shit, and CHz is arguably shit, but saying MPP is shit seems contrarian

Use Pixlr (which is free and online) if you don't want to download Photoshop or GIMP.
Be creative - your cover doesn't just have to be text on top of a cropped image! Play with what you're given.

Whats the most patrician way to enjoy a new album?
I don't mean the hardware, but what to do while listening to it.
Sit in the dark? Play a game? Etc.
Shitpost on /mu/

I mostly listen to new albums at night or in the morning when my parents work, because I hate background noise. This goes especially for ambient albums
