I NEVER THOUGHT
I'D DIE ALONE
OUR BAND'S A SHITTY GREEN DAY CLONE
I TRACED OUR DISCOGRAPHY TO THE WALL, THERE WAS ONLY 1 QUALITY ALBUM IN ALL
are there any other albums where one half/the first disc is crazy and experimental whereas the other half/second disc is more conventional?
98.12.28 is the opposite of that, but that wouldn't help.
>>73311727
Maybe you should give up on music OP
>>73311765
if its the second half thats experimental that works too
is it true that this album is often considered to be smiths' worst because of all those triggered meat eaters who dont like feeling wrong and guilty for their food choices? title track is one of smiths' greatest songs actually and even without how soon is now there are plenty of good songs on this lp
Summer sure is here...
BY THE BIG WHEEL
GENERATOR
title track is downright okay and the lyrics are in the top 5 cringiest ever written by morrisey. the album is my personal favorite but it's really nothing special, although its better than self titled.

anyone know this feel? i know there are plenty of great musicians that started late but I feel so far behind other people I meet that have been playing their instruments since they were like 4 years old
i know technicality isn't everything but i feel like other musicians judge me silently for not being as experienced as them

IKTF bro
A friend of mine didn't start playing guitar until he was 18, but he has a better perspective on music and sounds much more interesting than most of the people I know who go to school for music. Don't let technique bog you down, just be creative.
It's never too late to start. I went to uni for science, worked, started learning piano at 27, then went to a performance art school and am now work full time as a performance musician.
"Dadrock" and "rockist" are racial slurs
They are exclusively used to denigrate the artistic and intellectual accomplishments of whites, particularly white men
If you describe music as "dadrock" or a music fan as a "rockist," you are a racist bigot who resents successful and creative people
>>73311215
Rockist doesn't mean "listens to rock" you prick
>>73311215
>denigrate the artistic and intellectual accomplishments of whites
Like what? Singing, "I'm a 28-year old cumskin, yadda yadda, I'm a dad, woo hoo" isn't an artistic or intellectual achievement.

this is a shit bait thread and you should kill yourself, however i'd prefer critics be rockists than poptimists if i had to pick one.
why was my thread deleted?

New general for piano players/piano music enthusiasts/keyboard players/synth players/organ players/keyhead gearfags!
This is not a general for producers who happen to use midi keyboards, we're all about actual musicians/enthusiasts.
Welcoming every genre, not limited to but including: classical, blues, jazz, pop, rock n roll, synthwave, techno, etc.
No sticky yet so feel free to post things you think should be included.
need to pick up piano again, anyone know of a pretty piece to play that's somewhere between the difficulty of Ravel's Pavane and Brahms's Op. 118 No. 2?
the more unabashedly Romantic the better
How does one start getting into playing piano? I've had a cheap electronic piano sitting around the house and it's a shame to let it collect dust. Should I just start tapping away at the board?

Anything that includes the word "grimes" (plus variations on her name) and also anything that includes "lavren", "lauren", "mayberry" etc.
There are sometimes 6+ of these threads up at any time. It's ridiculous.
The point of these threads is to encourage people to look for new and interesting music. We do this by listening to and ideally discussing albums we've never heard before. Many of us already listen to new music daily, these people are in it to venture "out of their comfort zone" by listening to albums they otherwise wouldn't have, or just to have a good time.
