myers biggs is scam. pls stop believing that crap. you'll save yourself some insanity. human beings are complicated creatures stop forcing labels into yourself. you'll limit what you like just because you think your "personality type" isn't fit for it.
Are you hyped about Savageville?
we are the ones who are blind
>>73191147
how can savageville be real if our eyes aren't real?
i stopped listening to him once he hopped on the trap wave, not because its corny but because he just doesnt sound right on his new beats to me

I'll start: RHCP's drummer's middle name is "Gaylord"
Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top got shot in the leg while getting blown by a girl.
Fun fact: Americ anfootball sucks major dick and you all should listen to Dashboard confessionalz instread
Lou Reed isn't dead he's just napping
They will never release something better than Exai and Elseq. It's all downhill from here.
they've been downhill ever since chiastic slide m9
>>73190796
Chiastic Slide is so boring IMO, Cipater, Cichli and Nuane are the only good tracks

I have visited this board for the first time about 10 years ago and soon after listened to this. I enjoyed it a lot, loved it even. It led me to fiercely consume music over the years in search of music that would give me as much of a reason to love this medium.
I've listened to thousands upon thousands of various releases in this time, got into genres that my past self would never imagine future me liking so much. I liked to think that I outpatricianed everyone else, that my knowledge of music surpasses any of those big names on this board, most people on rym -
from hampus to antiwarhol, you name it.
And surely as you can imagine this album fell in my estimation over the years. I still liked it, sure, but started treating as "entry level", "babby's first" historical delve into music outside of my comfort zone. Nothing to take particular note of nowadays, there are many more like it. And on top of that it doesn't have the intellectual depth or any particular out of the ordinary elements about it that would make it special. Rockish folk with cool enough songwriting and nice aesthetic on top of that. Definitely endearing but that's it.
But just yesterday I had some sort of epiphany about this album and I really needed to think about it. Is everything that I built up over those years starting to crumble? Is this basic hipster garabe, /mu/ pleb tier, praised by p4k and melon sort of album actually really resonating with me? What the fuck?
But yeah there's just something about it that suddenly hit me. Nothing new that I haven't noticed about this album years ago though. There's just something unique about Mangum's voice and simplicity of the songs used to a much grander effect here that makes me think even though there's not much depth here, there's much more here going on on the surface than in most of the greatest depths of the most difficult albums. Either this is one of the most perfect albums ever made or I'm just a total sentimental loser.
Probably both.
ok

Are there any classical music pieces that sound very similar to the part that begins around 1:47, going to the end of this soundtrack's video? Is this track based on a real piece? I think it's a harpsichord or clavichord, but which is the actual instrument here, and which classical musicians have composed similar pieces to it? I'm looking for as similar as possible, if you are able to help. It's a rather simple sounding keyboard composition, but there is something especially captivating about it, and I'm looking for more in this style. Thanks.

OK, thanks for referencing the genre, but who would you say had more melancholic sounding keyboards pieces with similar tones to the YouTube video, generally?

Bach
