Oh no, inspirational messages, REEEEEE!!!
>>73223437
I posted this because, while Twenty One Pilots may be corny and mediocre at best, they at least have a good message for kids. So many bands aimed at teens just put out angst and depression 24/7 and glorify suicide instead of talking about how to overcome it.
whole album was so energetic and manic and creative and the last song sounded like a 2011 odd future ballad
Meh i liked it, kinda forgettable. Then again everything after when it rains is.
is this the greatest song ever made?

Anyway I think the gayest band of all time would be Pansy Division with an honorable mention of Tribe 8.
best rupaul album?
Who better than Royksopp?
More like RoykSTOPP ! Because they suck ahah
Is this one of the most timeless modern albums?
Sounds like it could have been recorded at any point of the last 20 years to be honest.
No, this sounds way too clean to have been recorded in the last decade. As far as I'm concerned, this and Kid A are the definitive Y2K albums.
So I just finished his discography (including the soundtracks)
Was this really his peak?
I don't know. He's an interesting artist. Very creative with sampling when sampling was still somewhat novel in and of itself. I liked the Splinter Cell soundtrack

chaos theory is breddy good
permutation is just so fuckin jazzy and good and its got a lot of his dnb roots in it still, and i think more consistently enjoyable than ofow and supermodified

I've been drumming for about 5 years and I think I'm pretty alright and come up with creative parts, not just in the sense of 'muh time signatures', and have started taking some music theory classes.
But because I don't play any melodic instruments other than dabbling in keyboard, I don't really know the process of how to write a song or write a chord structure.
Any advice or ideas on how to get things going?

Sing
Hmm, i make electronic stuff but getting a daw might be quite helpful if youre having trouble writing a song. you could use it to plop notes down and arrange stuff and listen to it on instruments that you cant play (pirate some sample libraries and you can mock up your own orchestra if you want).
the process for writing a song is you plop notes down andsee how it sounds. thereis no real process just make the music. what you plop down first will sound like shit. tweak it and stuff until it sounds shit but less shit, then move on and work on a new track with the lessons you learned from the first, etc.
dont think about it too much, this will fuck you up. dont worry about any rules of songwriting, just make a few fucking songs, no matter how terrible or disorganized. after you know what it is like to make a song, you can focus on learning how to actually do it. but right now, youre focusing on getting things going when you could be writing the song by plopping some fucking notes down. if you need direction, write 12 bar blues in C major, put melodic notes on every beat and choose which notes they are using a random number generator. would bring you closer to your goal than typing our your post did

Pro Radii is their best track honestly
confield is not the best album
Honestly, I'm not sure how or if /my/ will react. What is your opinion to John Zewizz and his project Sleep Chamber? Is he a footnote to eighties cold wave synth music? Is he a trailblazer in sexuality? Is he a creepy old fuck? Do you give a Fuck either way?
I guess no one gives a a Shit...
