It's always a fucking mp3
Is this dadrock?
fun fact: one of slint's main influences is AC/DC. when a journalist asked the band for an advance copy of spiderland in 1991, they sent him a cassette of "back in black"

A big brain is nothing without a nice smile!
You've just finished listening to a beautiful but incredibly sad album, and it's left you in a funk. What album do you play right after it to lift (or at least level out) your mood?
/mu/, help me out. What's that one artist who made the song played off some old as shit tape that was falling apart, so it's just a loop of the same song getting more and more faded and distorted?
I can't for the life of me remember.
Ah, actually, I just found it on my own. I was talking about William Basinski. Thanks anyway, /mu/.

I agree, but at the same time I don't like the excessive and emotional vocal samples
Vocal samples ruin it. 7/10 at best.
I feel like fucking shit for making fun of the Linkin Park guy all these years
I didn't think he had any serious issues. I thought he would just grow old and become a figure that people laughed about in passing doing joke gigs into his senior years like vanilla ice
I'm sorry. I didn't even know your name and I know making an MLG airhorn remix of crawling is way too nondescript and small scale to ever make you feel bad but I still feel horrible.
There. It's off my chest.
He's fucking dead. He's never coming back.
He had a disease. That disease took his life. Learn from the situation and your feelings towards it, make adjustments, and do better moving forward.
why couldn't the smashing pumpkins just pick a style. are they metal? shoegaze? grunge? alternative? 1979, rocket, rhinoceros, amazing. disarm, bullet with butterfly wings, ava adore shit.

Isn't that kind of part of why they're interesting as a band?
If they had just one sound throughout the whole album I probably wouldn't listen to them
>>74101467
yeah but he's way to amateur a singer to make it work. disarm is cringey. tonight tonight is interesting, i am one is bland, today is good. id prefer he pick a genre and work within it like my blood valentine did.

I mean his voice is nothing special but the music is decent. Having a diverse sound is good for not becoming stale. Eventually though he did use most of his sounds up and ended up that way, but we got a few good albums out of it.
Anything past Mellon Collie is trash though.
