I like the AW11's 80s space fighter look, and the accessibility was more attractive to me. Never even considered the AE86 as a possibility, but ended up with one by chance when I was looking for MR2s and 240s. AE86 was best car, but I'd probably love the AW11 too. Would make a good garage sister. Rub their fat TVIS together with oil.

I am feeling the same way. AE86 got me hooked on '80s Toyotas, but AW11 is the only one I can find practically without breaking the bank. Down the line I'd like to own one of each, and a 1JZ swapped JZA60. Probably not all at once.

That would the case but the ZZW30 is plagued with pre cat issues and excessive oil consumption.

I would still love to own one, it's a tossup between an NB Miata to me.
