>merging dead boards
Did anyone even noticed?

Hello newfriend :)
/mlpol/ was definitely on purpose.
But yeah, none of the other actually alive boards (/a/ /v/ and /b/) have been touched.
/o/ is far from dead
>>20589
theyre not dead boards, but it still is a weird merge.
I was expecting to see more of the larger active boards fucked with but they've mostly been left alone. Instead they just fucked with two pretty niche boards instead.
>>20651
Well there is /mlpol/, which is pretty hilarious and /cock/.
/fitlit/ is also a merging of two pretty popular boards
>>20691
yeah but then theres /k/, /mu/, /v/, /g/, /tv/, /b/, /a/, /int/, and /r9k/ that are all the same.
Definitely some missed opportunities. /k/ and /r9k/ would have been funny.
>>20794
/k/ and /mu/ would've been funny.
/a/ and /v/ would've been funny.
>>20899
Nobody from /v/ would even notice a difference if they merged.
>>20899
>/a/ and /v/ merge
>nothing changes

>/k/ and /r9k/ would have been funny
Hiroshimoot probably didn't want to encourage any school shootings
/o/ was never a dead board
>>20583
I did and I never posted on either.
>>21876
Nah, he mean /diy/
>>21187
I laughed, but you're probably right.
>>20583
this is the best combo of all of them

>dead boards
if anything only /an/ was dead since /c/ did already overtake.
Both boards are literally more active than they've ever been, they just didn't have Gamergate, the Fappening or the 2016 election to force them to the forefront of the internet for an extended period.
Niche boards are keeping the fire burning until the rest of this stupid shit dies down and we can get back to drawing pictures of robots having sex.
