How exactly does a tank slapper happen? I understand the general physics of it but I see it happening in a lot of instances where it shouldn't.

For example, there is that video on the /wsg/ thread with a 636 on the highway going around 90mph-100mph when he gets on the throttle and the slapper ensues

A 636 simply doesn't have enough power, especially at that high of gearing (probably 2nd or 3rd gear) to make the front end light enough for a slapper. I wonder if its a geometry or weight distribution issue specific to the 636. Gixxers are notorious for their comparatively heavy front end which is why they are harder to clutch up than say a CBR or R6.

How many gixxer tank slappers can you find on YouTube? Now go look for R6 tank slappers. The difference is significant
