If we don't create a new culture devoid of /pol/ and /mlp/ clichés and memes there is no point in keeping this up.
This is something new and if you are using it for what /pol/ was for (i'm not from pone so I don't know what goes on there and if its different from this) there is no point and you may as well return.

I browsed neither pone nor pol before. But i like this.

I too enjoy lurking on this board

/pol/ has been my home for a few years but I've hated it since the election.
the whole thing is just a meme now.

>implying you can control what becomes a meme
culture develops itself by combining ideas from individuals. i doubt this place will exist long enough to form its own culture, but its not something you would have to try to work at. it would happen all on its own.

What I was getting at was - leave the /pol/ shit on /pol/, like meme balls, political compasses, trump generals, etc.
We should try and loose the baggage and become our own entity.
I don't want it to be forced neither though, your right it has to be natural.
/mlp/ doesn't allow porn. This is their draw. I don't think we'll get the same discourse as we do in /pol/ but it's magnitudes more fun. Plus no shills pushing political agendas even get through. It's also hidden off the books so newfags won't know shit. IMO this is the best board on the internet atm. It's light hearted, obscene, entertaining and populated. Like how the fuck could anyone plan this better!?

lol, that pic is pretty much our entire history so far, they didn't include my transfag flag tail, I suppose it got in the way of brap. yeah maybe you're right, I should just enjoy it, although I would hate for this place to turn into /pol/ 2.0
>>179081
You are incorrect. /mlpol/ is the combination of both boards. Anything that could be on either board is allowed here plus clop.
>>179081
The board will develop its own culture as more people have discussions and make OC anon so I doubt you need to worry about it too much since most people that use said cliches have returned to their generals on both boards respectively

You put it very well.
I'm very excited to see this and I've never seen mlp.
