You can adjust what images with a certain score gets shown.

200+ is where all the quality porn is at.

100 and below tends to be other images and or non-colored drawings.

Search up random images and just add the tags in said images.

Derpibooru uses a score system which you can sort by if you prefer, the default sort is upload time/date though, and images cant get hidden no matter how low their score is unless you specifically filter for it.
It's generally used for quality rather than attention whoring, although there is the bandwagon effect with particular artists.
Using
>"score.gte: ### "
allows you to display images that are greater than or equal to that score.
I've found 200 is a good baseline, and you can combine this with other tags simply using a comma and further filter by using -

>score.gte:200, twilight sparkle, -anthro, -human

Would bring up every Twilight sparkle pony image with a combined upboat / downboat score equal to or above 200.

You can also modify the tags yourself if you spot an error, although your username will appear on that images tag history.
