The main message in Ride The Tiger is that civilization eventually reaches a point where it degenerates so badly that it's not even worth trying to save it. Evola recommended for his "aristocrats of the soul" to simply "Ride The Tiger" and indulge in light hedonism of the age without letting it conquer them, whilst waiting for it to eventually end so they can pick up the ashes.
