Remember that Hasbro distributed EQG 1 and 2 on encrypted Blu Rays for select theaters. Lionsgate is handling distribution now so it's going to be locked down tight like any other big budget movie.

Hasbro had a slide on the investor presentation that had the blu ray set to release in 2018. I really hope this isn't true and we get it for a holiday release. In the meantime I think we should focus on getting a decent recording then run it through an upscaler based on waifu2x and splice in the best audio we can get (maybe even put the soundtrack songs into it if you don't lose too many sound effects).
