Oh yeah, I can see why you'd be nervous about that. If he's your way in, man, just act as cool and confident as you can, don't make a big deal about anything (employers hate desperation) and remember these important things should you be attending an interview:

>Firm handshake before and after the interview
>Look the people you are talking to in the eyes (but don't stare)
>Sit up straight but relaxed; good posture
>Brevity, answer the questions, but don't ramble

If you keep these things in mind all throughout, they'll pick up on it and you'll have a good chance. Also when you walk in, after the handshake, don't sit down until they offer you a seat.

Also, do your homework beforehand and show you've learned about the position when they ask. Ask questions, don't just be a robot and answer, do a little interviewing as well, it shows interest and will help you determine if it's a good fit in the long run or just something to get by.

My old man gave me an anecdote about how this one Harvard graduate with top GPA and full honors and all these neat academic bells and whistles got invited for an interview with IBM, and when they began, the first question they asked was "What does IBM stand for". He couldn't answer and was subsequently denied the job.

It's really stupid, but it really works so long as you don't say it out loud. I got /fit/, turned my life around, got a well paying job, and started a side bisuness that makes decent coin. The only thing I lost was a desire for an actual human female, but I think it's a fair trade. I am almost embarrassed by how much I owe in my life to MLP.

I am following a very similar path, man. At least for the gettan /fit/ part. Just need to release myself from the poisonous clutches of (((University))) and get myself working into an uncucked trade. Also fuck women too.
