I'll see it on friday when it comes out; I read the books and KNOW it will be shit, but, fuck, its pony, gotta see how it'll be for myself.

There's honestly nothing wrong with being a fan of the fandom; Alot of the fan made content is cooler than alot of the stuff made by hasbro. And the fan activity is why this fandom got so big in the first place.


its sad that the fandom is on the decline, and people who dislike the show itself shouldn't be so bitter about it, but liking the fandom aspect of MLP is not a bad thing. After all, the fan side of things in transformers has shaped much of what has come about with transformers: If it wasn't for fans clamoring for more grey area and pro-decepticon stuff, we wouldn't have gotten the current canon of the Decepticons rebellion being an angry civil rights movement, or the backstory about the Autobot senate days.

Based on the other movie books I've storytimed, so just the EqG ones, it seems like they actually follow the plot pretty well, but I'm glad I didn't get to do the upcoming movie book storytime and could stay safe. I'm pretty sure that one is as accurate as the others, so I'm avoiding everything around it as best as I can to enjoy it as much as possible when I see it opening night or day. Movie art book was kind of risky though.

I'm gonna wait for reviews to see if it's good, and I'm also gonna wait to see what movies are showing alongside it, so when people ask what I went to see, I can just tell them I saw something else instead of MLP.

Also gonna buy my ticket at the kiosk so I don't have to interact with anyone while buying my ticket. Hopefully there won't be a ticket ripper who'll see my ticket, and hopefully there won't be anyone who actually recognizes me at the theater or going into the MLP screening.
