First, the EOH haven't been in the show since S4; next season more than HALF of the show will have been without the EOH but WITH glimmer. Not even the fucking MOVIE has the EOH in them.

Secondly, if they want to give glimmer an element, which they will, they damned will do so, lore be damned. they gave the seven in equestria girls magical pendants despite no EOH existing in that world after all.

Third, the S8 premier is going to be about Glimmer. if you don't think she's going to get a Magical macguffin to fully canonize her as a mane seventh, you are fucking delusional.
