Anyway, LoM issue #9, supposedly the third part of a four part arc. Still not known if LoM is going past issue #10.

Comic numbers come out tomorrow. Probably will not be very good. Might hit under 10k for the first time in a while.

Depends. No one reads them because there's no pretty pictures, even if the writing is routinely better than IDW. A shitty Whitley story drawn by Fosgitt gets more attention than the books.

Writing takes place for the show starting in December. Considering Haber and Vogel's rage about the election results around that time, I'd expect a lot of political stuff in season 8. Vogel already hinted that Scootaloo has lesbian guardians a while back. But honestly I doubt the comic has anything to do with season 8. It's probably just the hiatus kicking in and them having to fill time before they can get back into writing show tie ins.

FiM #58 (Pinkie in Discord’s dimension one-off) sold 10,037 copies.

Movie Prequel #3 (Capper’s origins) sold 6,907 copies.

The Prequel collection sold 1,487 copies.

This is the first time in a long time where MLP isn't IDW's biggest thing. Not only that, Movie prequel was rather poorly reviewed. It seems like their attempts at revitalizing aren't really working.
