Will it mix bad elements from both CMC and Glimmer episodes to make an episode where Glimmer fucks up a spell, but the CMC are ultimately blamed in the end despite them doing no wrong doing.

Why are people so upset over the fact that the mane 6 are ruining the show?

So is the book about how Glimmer feels bad that Scootaloo can't fly, so she casts a spell that gives her the magic to fly, but doing so slowly saps her of energy and by the end scootaloo has to come to terms with not flying.

They're good. Basically a new family of ponies moves into Ponyville and weird things start to happen that the CMC get wrapped up in. So far each book has concentrated one of the CMC. I don't know how much of the characterization will carry over to the show though.
