Mysterious Mare Do Well. I always had a huge fear of betrayal and tended to be horridly paranoid about whether my friends were trustworthy at the time.

Holy shit is that scene great and almost makes up for the first half being complete shit.

Haven't cried to pony but have gotten my heartstrings tugged during Scootaloo and Dash moments, Twilights walk down memory lane with Celestia, the moment where Fluttershy is sitting alone in her cabin in solitude in Putting Your Hoof Down, and a few others. Why people keep talking about The Perfect Pear as if some love story between two characters we only tangential know through the Apple family that were just a cliche Romeo and Juliet plot is beyond me. The moment of Grand pear's realization and showing his abandonment of his child is a very good moment and the only thing woethwhile in the episode.

There was this one time this past summer that I decided to re watch ALL of MLP again and rate them. I gave letter grading and the autism works in a notebook. When I got to "May the best pet win", I sang word for word that "Find a pet" song and broke into tears after singing it. It was from that moment that I remembered why I got into this show in the first place. My love for the show was reignited like a saved marriage.

Flight to the Finish
