Speaking of which, I kind of wonder how Fluttershy's power can get any "stronger"; being able to talk to animals is kind of a one level thing, its just being able to speak a language. They could give her her stare, but that seems unrelated to being able to talk to animals, and being able to control others seems like a power that should go to shimmer with her mind control unless they're not going to keep it focused on a "one power" thing but just throw random powers at them to synch up with what would work well together and make them like their pony counterparts.

As to the new outfit, it's alright. It looks to take more after the color schemes of her first one than the last one, though that's a shame because I think I liked her FG outfit the best. But this one's alright, I especially like the spikes. Sunset's willingness to wear her bad-girl past on her sleeve is one of my favorite traits about her.

her strength is granted by her Pendant though, and the pendant doesn't have any logic besides "its magic".
just have her pendant summon a "lasso of honesty" or something when she ponies up that has a variable length for her needs. It would honestly compliment her Super strength well, since it would give her a semi-ranged ability to use to get enemies close, and also give her a way to subdue enemies in a more Censor friendly way, since swinging them into a wall with a lasso is less offensive than punching them in the face to censors. (like how they could have tirek throw twilight but not punch her)

Dash has two things that she does; Weather control as a pegasi, and flying fast. In equestria the "flying ability" thing goes hand in hand with weather control, so its not really just because of power ponies.


If the point of the magic is to make them like their pony selves, then no reason not to give her mild weather control in addition to her super speed. Also, once again, gives her more ways to fight without upsetting the censors, since super speed generally ends up with punching people in the face really fast, with the other option being "tie them up super fast".

AJ's power--after Pinkie's--is the most retarded thing for this series: AJ has always related on her rodeo talents, wit and agility but the writers went lazy and plugged in some fanboy's headcanon.

What's more the power doesn't even match the spirit of the show. How does AJ's power help her solve a friendship problem? Fluttershy's can have eyes and ears everywhere; Sunset can into someone's head and see what they feel; Dash's can help a person complete an important task faster and be there for someone when they're far away; Twilight's is multi purposefully at least. AJ's power can lift a car for you; well thanks but I can get a carjack for that and not have to bother someone. Twilight can catch a friend and every item of their stuff before they crash to the pavement. Keys fall down the sewer drain or locked out of the house? Twilight can help a friend with that. A child caught up in a tree? Twilight can help with that. Like I said, more versatile.

I would say that the other idea of a lasso of honesty is a start but less original. Maybe give Applejack the eyes of truth that can be activated like a byakugan, magic allusions, false fronts, secret entrance or disguises can't fool her. Since AJ's is a talented farmer maybe give her a connection to the earth and trees: Toph's earth sensing, have the trees physically stop someone; make fruits and vegetables extremely large in the blink of an eye (can use offensively like a big bowling ball or to feed storm victims). There's a couple different ways to go with Applejack's power.
