Actually if nothing else, his chaotic antics are consistently creative. I imagine a noticeable chunk of the animation and unique assets budget each season is used whenever Discord so much as exists on screen for 5 seconds.

I think it would be pretty poetic if Fluttershy is trying to convince him to do something but he refuses so she threatens him with "the stare" only this time instead of a stern gaze, it's a puppy dog pout and Discord is unable to resist and caves.
It would serve as a nice callback to Keep Calm and Flutter On while simultaneously showcasing how far their friendship has grown since the beginning.
