"Hopefully they will be satisfied with it," You agree, "We might also be able to get some more recruits as well."
After a few minutes you figured out the budget: Military, Health, and Environment got the most, and Religion got the least. Everything else got a good amount.
"That looks good," Mabyn smiles, "Do you want to give each exact amounts or leave that to me?"

What do you do?
>>
>>30899478
You can work out those fine details.
>>
>>30899478
You're more experienced in finance than I am, I'll leave it up to you to decide what's apropriate
>>
What about these questions?
>>30896422
>>30896735
>>30896797
>>30896856
>>
>>30899533
It's about the size of a quarter, only gold coins, gold and a tiny bit of silver, I always imagined that bits were just debased gold, weigh the same as a penny, the royal mint in Capital makes new ones once a year with different prints on them each time old ones end up getting recycled into gold, pretty large, fifteen american dollars to one gold, bits I think would be three bits for every american dollar, Yaks use fur coins they make which vary in value.

>>30899486
>>30899493
"You're more experienced in finance then I am," You tell her, "You can work out those fine details."
"Got it, M'lady!" She salutes.

What do you do?
>>
>>30899561
Check the time. If it's lunch time invite her to a meal. Otherwise dismiss her.
>>
>>30899561
>different prints on them
Do you mean different values or differnt pictures on them every year?
>>
>>30899594
Different pictures.

>>30899592
You check the on the time.
It was around ten in the morning, barely close to lunch.
"...You're dismissed." You tell her.
She nods, picking up the papers before hurrying out of the room.

What do you do?
>>
>>30899657
We were supposed to be shown a suspicious letter we recived. Find out about that
>>
>>30899657
Let's see this letter.
>>
>>30899669
You remembered that you were suppose to be shown a suspicious letter you received, but you never got it.
As you think this Gethin trots in, in his cloak.
"Queen," He nods his head to you, "Sorry about yesterday. I was going to give you the letter, but you seemed to be busy with your family."

What do you do?
>>
>>30899734
A wise choice. May I see it now?
>>
>>30899734
All is forgiven. Thank you for giving me time with my family.
>>
>>30899748
"A wise choice," You reply, "May I see it now?"
He hands the letter to you, which had a address on it.
"It's a love letter addressed to you," Gethin explains, "From the southern district of Capital, though we don't know of any royalty that lives in South Capital."
South Capital was the rich district of Capital, filled with nobles, and other Deer. It was also where the Emperor's castle was located, but you kinda doubted it came from the castle.

What do you do?
>>
>>30899822
I am flattered really. If you find out who sent it just tell him he is out of luck as I am happily married. No threatening stuff.

Read the letter.
>>
>>30899822
How sweet, but don't they realize I am married?
>>
>>30899843
>>30899873
"I am flattered, really," You smile; opening the letter, "But, don't they realize that I'm married?"
You proceed to read the letter. It's writing was a little off, like the deer writing it wanted to try a different style.
There was a lot of flattery, and things describing how beautiful you were. At the end it didn't give a name though.

What do you do?
>>
>>30899926
Pass the letter back
Tell him if they find out who it is just inform them they are out of luck as we are happily married. No threatening stuff.
>>
>>30899942
If he turns to leave after this tell him to wait and ask him how things have been investigating the mage.
>>
>>30899926
How touching, a secret admirer appreciates us. But without a name, we can't really give a response back.

As a side note: Is it socially acceptable for royalty to have more spouses? If not, then that speaks a lot about who sent this letter.
>>
>>30899959
I rather doubt he would leave before we dismiss him.
>>
>>30899983
I doubt more spouses are acceptable but fucking others on the side maybe.
>>
>>30899991
Concubines might be acceptable, but whoever sent this letter probably doesn't want that with how much they flattered us. We definitely don't need a concubine with our husband, and we are definitely not going to cheat on him.
>>
>>30899999
Fucking waste
>>
>>30899999
Yep.
We don't need no concubines
>>
>>30899999
Quints nigga
>>
>>30899942
>>30899959
>>30899983
>>30899985
Concubines were accepted in Deer culture, but cheating on a spouse was a big no and even a crime in some areas. Like Marsh allows minor cheating, while Capital and Highland, cheating was punishable with jail time no matter who you were.
"How touching," You say; passing the note back, "A secret admirer. Tell him, if they find out who it is, that they are out of luck as I am happily married. No threatening stuff. How have things been investigating the mage?"
"Pretty good," Gethin smiles, "He apparently moved here five years ago and became Neltic. He has records of a family, but nobody has seen them around."

What do you do?
>>
>>30900052
Well keep looking into it until you have all the information you can find. You are dismissed.
>>
>>30900052
Keep searching, if nobody's seen the family I want to know why. What reasons could someone have for falsifying records of a family?
>>
>>30900052
Keep investigating for now.
>>
>>30900066
>>30900074
>>30900125
"Keep looking into it until you have all the information you can find," You tell him, "If nobody's seen the family I want to know why. What reasons could someone have for falsifying records of a family?"
"His family records were verified to be real," He tells you, "His wife and daughter disappeared a year after they moved here. Nobody knows how they disappeared, and he does have a alcohol problem."

What do you do?
>>
>>30900146
That's unfortunate. Keep trying to work out what happened to them.

I will trust your judgment on when searching for them becomes a fools erand.

So far I am seeing no real reason not to hire him in future.
>>
>>30900146
There isn't anything concrete that points out him out to be bad. Besides his alcohol problem and family disappearance, there is no reason not hire him again.
>>
>>30900172
>>30900236
"That's unfortunate," You say, "Keep trying to work out what happened to them. There isn't any concrete that points him out to be bad. Besides his alcohol problem and family disappearance, there is no reason not to hire him again."
"Alright," Gethin bows, "Will that be all, Ivory?"

What do you do?
>>
>>30900258
Yes. You are dismissed.
>>
>>30900258
That will be all. Thank you for you help.
>>
>>30900258
If possible, I'd also like a thorough investigation to be done into the preist we arrested yesterday.
>>
>>30900269
>>30900302
>>30900317
"If possible, I'd also like a thorough investigation to be done into the priest we arrested yesterday. You are dismissed."
He bows again before leaving.
You were now alone in the room. You let out a sigh, already feeling tired on your second day as Queen.

What do you do?
>>
>>30900343
Batukhan never writes us anything romantic. We should tell him we got a letter from a secret admirer and now we want to see something from him.
>>
>>30900376
You sure that's a good idea? It makes it seem like a competition.
>>
>>30900433
I think it would be fine.
>>
>>30900376
>>30900433
Batukhan never wrote you anything romantic. You could tell him about the letter from the secret admirer and now that you wanted something from him.
Your thinking is interrupted by the sound of a set of tiny hooves clipclopping their way over.
You look over to find Delkii standing at the door way, wearing her nice, little, red dress she got on her birthday last year. Her tiny tail flicking side to side as she stared at you with a smile.

What do you do?
>>
>>30900516
Hello Delki. You look very beautiful.
>>
>>30900516
Hi delki.
Queening is hard.
>>
>>30900529
>>30900541
"Hello Delkii," You smile, "You look very beautiful. Queening is hard..."
She trots up and sits down in front of you. She was already very beautiful, she would be even more so when she grows up.
"Would hugs make it better?" She asks; opening her hooves up to you.

What do you do?
>>
>>30900615
Yes.
>>
>>30900615
Of course.
>>
>>30900615
Recive the hug.
>>
I'm unclear. Are we in the throne room or some sort of meeting room?
>>
>>30900615
Hug hug.

"Yes," You smile, "Hug hug."
Delkii hops into your hooves, the two of you hugging each other.

What do you do?
>>
>>30900935
Ask her what her plans for today are.
>>
>>30900935
When do we need to head to the capital again?
>>
>>30900935
What's the special occasion to be wearing this dress?
>>
>>30900966
>>30900982
>>30900994
"What are your plans today," You ask, "What's the special occasion for the dress."
"I was... I was... was... wwwwaaaassssss-" She drones.
This sometimes happened with her: When she was trying to think of a bunch of things and talk at the same time her mind stalls. The doctors said she should grow out of it in a year or two.

What do you do?
>>
>>30901033
Give her a chance to recover.
Pick her up and go find morningstar. We have spent a lot of time talking to Delkii but none talking to her today.
>>
>>30901033
Give her time. Hopefully she'll get better as the doctor says.
>>
>>30901072
>>30901108
You decide to give her a chance to recover, picking her up and heading off to find Morning Star. You haven't really talked to her this morning.
Part way to your wing Delkii comes back to life.
"I was hoping to go into the city with you and get something for Morning Star on our birthday." She quickly says.
You then remember that Morning Star and Delkii's birthday was in a few days. Five to be exact.

What do you do?
>>
>>30901229
I do have to leave this afternoon and I might have more stuff to do today but I will find out if I have time.
Has she been into the city before? Morningstar had only been once before yesterday.

Go find out if we have any time to spare to go present shopping.
>>
I forget. Which of them was the mummys girl and which the daddys girl?
>>
>>30901262
Morning star is the mummys girl.
Delki prefers her father.
>>
>>30901254
"I do have to leave this afternoon and I might have more stuff to do today," You tell her, "But, I will find out if I have time."
Delkii has been into the city only once with her dad, which was what turned her into a daddy's girl.
You quickly find out if you had time to go out into the city. You figure out that you did as you had to leave around sunset to arrive at Capital in time for the Meeting of the Kings. And there wasn't anything planned for you today.

What do you do?
>>
>>30901310
Alright, let's let her know we're free to go.
>>
>>30901310
Head to the city. Same setup as yesterday and tell delki the same things we told morningstar.
Was the time morningstar went to the city also the time delki did?
>>
>Got idea for third quest.
>Slowly becoming Bath.

>>30901326
>>30901329
"Alright," You tell her, "We're free to go."
You and Delkii head out into the city, wearing cloaks. The guards tried to get you to go with an escort, but you assured them that you'll be fine.
The two of you soon reach the marketplace. Where you come upon the problem that you didn't know what to get for either of the two birthday girls.

What do you do?
>>
>>30901378
Jewelery.
>>
>>30901378
>Got idea for third quest.
Might as well share it.

What hobbies do our daugthers have?
>>
>>30901392
Oh yes think about hobbies.
>>
>>30901392
It's basically Anonpone in Humanestria: Fast, random, silly, adventure thing.

>>30901383
>>30901411
You start to think about their hobbies.
Morning Star really liked birds, but you weren't sure if she would be able to take care of a live one.
Delkii was actually taking an interest in you and fighting. Having found her playing with your knife and nearly impaling herself with it by throwing it in the air.

What do you do?
>>
>>30901457
Get morningstar a book on birds and Delki some sort of training dagger.
>>
>>30901463
This works.
>>
>>30901463
>>30901472
You trot around and find Morning Star a book on birds and, when Delkii wasn't looking, a training dagger made out of some wood.
You start walking back to the castle when you feel a strange feeling: Like you were being followed.

What do you do?
>>
>>30901463
The book seems good but how about a training wooden sword.
>>
>>30901541
Dagger seems better right now.
>>
>>30901538
Be direct. Ask whos out there
Keep one eye on delki.
>>
>>30901538
Try to see behind using a reflection.
>>
>>30901538
Try not raise this stalker's suspicion that we found him.
>>
>>30901560
>>30901562
You manage to trot by a booth selling mirrors and look behind you.
What appeared to be a pony in a cloak was following you. You couldn't read his expression, but it didn't look friendly.
Before you could ask who was there, the pony quickly gallops up and pushes you into a nearby alley. Delkii gets launched from your back and lands safely in a pile of garbage.
You fall on the ground as the pony, a Unicorn Stallion, trots up to you. Floating out a knife, with symbols of a sun on it.
He slowly approaches you while silently moving his lips, talking to himself. It takes a while, but you manage to read what his lips were saying: The Celestial's Prayer of Forgiveness. You were required to know a bit about Celestialism, and their prayers were what you remembered the best.

What do you do?
>>
>>30901647
Tackle that fucker.
>>
>>30901647
This assassin fucked with the wrong queen, slam him into a wall.
>>
>>30901667
Wait I'm retarded. A unicorn could then stab us.
Run up and punch him in the head.
>>
>>30901647
Aim for the head and then the horn.
>>
>>30901647
Use our training to fight unicorns (if we have any) to deal with this fucker.
>>
>>30901667
>>30901679
>>30901692
>>30901698
>>30901701
You quickly remember your training with dealing with Unicorns: Move quickly, aim for the head, disable the horn.
You get up and charge him, which surprises him. Tackling him against a wall while punching him in the head.
This causes him to violently let go of the knife, this having the side effect of making a slightly deep cut about your right eye. The eye going red as blood goes over it.
He uses this opportunity to punch you hard across the face. Your ears ringing as you let go and stagger a bit. He then grabs you and pins you to the ground, raising a hoof to punch you again.

What do you do?
>>
>>30901748
If we have a hoof that can reach it grab our knife and slash him across the stomach.
If not kick him or if all of our limvs are down headbut.
>>
>>30901766
*all of our limbs
>>
>>30901748
How heavy does he look.
If we were both standing up would we be able to lift him?
>>
>>30901748
Use the one hoof he's not holding to parry his punch and then strike his stomach.
>>
>>30901766
>>30901786
>>30901791
The knife wasn't nearby, currently embedded between two bricks in one of the walls.
He didn't look very heavy. He looked more lean and fit then anything else.
You manage to use one of your hooves to parry his punch before using your hindlegs to strike at his stomach.
He quickly stumbles back, holding his stomach. Allowing you to stand up once more.
He then lets out a loud scream. Delkii having bit down on one of his legs, hanging on as he tries to buck her off, slamming her against the ground several times in the attempt.

What do you do?
>>
>>30901831
Grab him by the neck and slam him to the ground.
>>
>>30901831
Now is our chance. Grab him and restrain him so we can pummel him.
>>
>>30901831
No one hurts my daughter.
Hit his horn hard.
>>
>>30901831
You done goofed.
>>
>>30901882
>>30901886
>>30901903
>>30901908
Nobody hurts your daughter!
You gallop and grab him by the neck, slamming him against the ground and hitting his horn hard.
You hit him in the head several times. Bloodying his face good and leaving him unconscious.
The adrenaline soon leaves, the wound above your eye now hurting slightly.
Several Deer were now standing at the entrance of the alley, some looking in surprise while others looked at the unconscious Unicorn with hatred.
You soon notice your daughter crying, sitting nearby holding her muzzle as it bled badly.

What do you do?
>>
>>30901940
Come on Delkii, let head home, someone help carry this assassin to the castle dungeon.
>>
>>30901940
It's going to be alright Delki. We're both safe now. Go home to do some basic first aid for her.
>>
>>30901971
We are gong to need the castle doctor to treat our wounds.
>>
>>30901940
You did good Delkii.
Attend to her
>>
>>30901940
Can someone call a guard please?
>>
>>30901951
>>30901971
>>30901981
>>30901983
>>30902009
"Can someone call a guard please?"
One of the Deer quickly bolts off to get a guard while you get Delkii and hold her close.
"It's going to be alright, Delkii," You tell her, "We're both safe now."
The guards quickly arrive, escorting you back to the castle and taking the assassin to the dungeons, but not before the Deer watching added a injury to him themselves.

You were now sitting in the medical room of the castle. You managed to get away with some light bruising to your left cheek, which would heal quickly, and the cut was cleaned and bandaged. You were nervously waiting for the doctors to come back with your daughter's diagnosis.
One of them comes soon, quickly trotting to you.
"So," He says, "Your daughter suffered some light bruising and a broken nose. We fixed the nose and placed a cast on it, should be healed in a week."

What do you do?
>>
>>30902041
Thank you doctor.
Go in and tell her you are proud of what she did.
>>
>>30902041
After our daughters' birthday we should have them trained, so they can fend for themselves if we or our husband are not around.
>>
>>30902041
Thanks you for your help doctor.
>>
>>30902052
That's sort of why we brought the dagger. But then I suppose the reasoning is slightly different.
>>
>>30902095
The practice one that is.
>>
>>30902049
>>30902052
>>30902090
>>30902095
"Thank you, doctor." You smile.
Maybe after your daughters' birthday you could have them trained. They start school at three which they will be in five days.
A door opens as Delkii trots in slowly. A cast around her upper muzzle.
She quickly gallops to you and grabs your leg, shaking and crying into it.

What do you do?
>>
Stopping for the night.
Have a good night or day!
>>
>>30902116
Stroke the back of her head.
Tell her she did a good job and held onto him very well.
>>
>>30900317
At the rate we are going maybe we should have put more money into espionage.
>>
>>30902886
I don't know about more money but I suppose it's not too late to tell mabyn or whatever her name was to take a minimal amount from it.

If we do too much espionage we can pull nore money from the treasury, it's not ideal but we would have learnt our lesson for next year.
>>
>>30902918
I was mostly joking anyway.
>>
>>30902116
Stroke her man-
Stroke her back or something.
>>
>>30903002
I considered saying something similar when the second request was made of our spies but i decided two days is not a large enough sample size to decide we are going to use them a lot in general.
>>
>>30903281
Considered saying it at the time that is
>>
>>30903281
I think we are going to be using spies a fair amount, but I kinda assumed espionage was a subset of the military, and that some money spent on the military would go into espionage.
>>
>>30903289
There was a seperate espionage category.
>>
>>30903281
Yeah you're right. Would be unwise to judge it off just two days.
>>
>>30901329
>Was the time morningstar went to the city also the time delki did?
I am also curious about this.
If her trip was a different one was it before or after delkis?
>>
>>30903730
And did she also go in with Batukhan or with us?
>>
>>30902127
>>30903005
You gently stroke the back of her head, holding her close.
"You did a good job," You tell her, "You held onto him very well."
"It hurt!" She sniffs.

What do you do?
>>
>>30904829
It hurt him more.
You'll get better though, in a week you'll be good as new!
>>
>>30904829
I made sure he felt much more. You were very brave.
>>
>>30904948
>>30905056
"It hurt him more," You tell her, "And I made sure he felt much more. You were very brave."
She manages to smile up at you a bit.
You hear the door open as Gethin trots in. He quickly trots up to you before handing you a letter.
"We found this letter on the assassin." He tells you.

What do you do?
>>
>>30905130
Well, let's hope it gives us adequate reason not to have him executed for attempted regicide.
>>
>>30905130
Let's see if we can find out who sent this order to them.
>>
>>30905175
>>30905195
"Let's hope it gives us an adequate reason NOT to have him executed for attempted regicide."
You open it up and begin to read it.
"It has come to the attention to many in the Federation that a new Queen is coming of age soon in Highland, heavily Neltic. Your job is to kill her while another agent attempts to incite the majority Celestial Town Guard into a coup. Kidnapping her for a forceful conversion is also preferable if killing her doesn't work. -Warriors of Sunlight."
You knew the Warrior of Sunlight: A 'Crusader' group that arrived in the Federation shortly before it's conversion to Celestialism. They often used terrorism to make Deer fear them and convert. They became an official organization after the conversion, now mostly causing trouble for the Neltic royal family in Oceania, and here in Highland.

What do you do?
>>
>>30905336
A fucking coup? Bloody hell.
interrogate the assasin, find out what he knows.
>>
>>30905336
Son of a...can I come with you and interrogate/torture him with you? I need to get it out of my system.
>>
>>30905471
>>30905593
"A- ...coup," You shout; just managing from assaulting your daughter's ears with profanity, "Bloody hell! Interrogate the assassin, find out what he knows."
He nods, quickly rushing out of the room to do so. You follow him, needing to get it out of your system.
You soon reach the dungeons under the castle. They were like how you remembered them: Dark, damp, cold, and rat filled.
You soon reach his cell. The assassin already cut and bruised with two guards standing nearby.
"Get the interrogation tools ready." Gethin tells them; the guards trotting off.

What do you do?
>>
>>30905625
Alright, we'll start simple, what's your name?
>>
>>30905625
What do we have for interrogation?
>>
>>30905625
What do we have for tools? Any rags and water?
>>
>>30905668
>>30905697
>>30905738
The guards soon wheel in a table with some tools: From simple things like rags, a bucket of ice water, some rope, and a cutting knife, to some more... controversial things like a Pig Prod, in a bucket of burning coals, a whip, even a hoofscrew.
"Alright," You say; standing in front of him, "We'll start simple: What's your name?"
He doesn't respond, only spitting in your face.

What do you do?
>>
>>30905807
Rude. Listen, I don't want to hurt you. Well, actually, you hurt my daughter, so I want to hurt you alot. But I'm not going to, so long as you tell me what I want to know.
What's your name.

This.
>>
>>30905848
>>30905861
"Rude," You mutter; wiping your face, "I don't want to hurt you. Actually, you hurt my daughter so I want to hurt you a lot, but I'm not going to so long as you tell me what I want to know. What's your name."
He doesn't say anything, just looking at the floor as a rat comes by and sniffs one of his hooves.

What do you do?
>>
>>30905937
The fun way it is then, but remember when you're screaming in pain, I gave you a choice.
>>
>>30905807
Scare that rat off.
I don't understand your mindset. What did I ever do to cause anger? Would Celestia actually ever approve of this? I don't remember her caring about what others beliefs are, and asking for forgiveness doesn't automatically mean that you are excused to act in a way she disapproves.

Just talk to him a bit more before going to torture. We have some time.
>>
>>30905964
>>30906020
You stomp your hoof. Scaring the rat off.
"I don't understand your mindset," You admit, "What did I ever do to cause anger? Would Celestia ever approve of this? I don't remember her caring about what other's beliefs are, and asking for forgiveness doesn't automatically mean that you are excused to act in a way she disapproves."
He still doesn't say anything.
"...Fun way it is then!"
You trot over to the table and start looking over the tools.
"Silence your tongue, heathen," He says suddenly, "You have no right to tell me what Celestia approves of!"

What do you do?
>>
>>30906047
Oh but we can always change that, how about I call her for a diplomatic meeting? Then we can get our answers straight from the pony's mouth. How does that sound?
Crack the whip.
How about we start slow? Hmm and then we see how it goes from there.
>>
>>30906047
Why? All Celestialists have different opinions on what Celestia truly wants. Aren't you acting above her by attempting assassination without her command? Should I just attend a meeting with her?
>>
>>30906047
Then tell me, would she approve of this? Assasination? Reicide? Assault of a child? If you think she'd like that I could send her a letter. I'm sure she'd be willing to meet.
>>
>>30906142
>>30906189
>>30906195
"Why," You ask, "Then tell me: Would she approve of this? Assassination? Regicide? Assault of a child? We can always change that, how about I call her for a diplomatic meeting? Then we can get answers straight from her mouth. How does that sound? I'm sure she'd be willing to meet."
You grab the whip and crack it in the air.
"How about we start slow, hmm? And then see how it goes from there?"
"Fuck you!"

What do you do?
>>
>>30906503
Oh, I'm flattered. But I'd rather leave the fucking for my husband.
So, let's play a game. I ask you a question, if you lie or refuse to answer, I hurt you. But if you tell me the truth then I can guarantee you'll be fed. Sound good? Then let's play.
What's your name.
>>
>>30906503
Maybe in another life you can do that to a heretic. Now, who did they send in to follow 'Celestia's' wish. Or are you just a nameless pony that decided to randomly slay others?
>>
Hm. Slept through some of the session. Haven't done that in a while. Hope it's not to late to do the things I had in mind.
>>
>>30906579
>>30906682
"Oh, I'm flattered," You smile, "But, I'd rather leave the fucking for my husband."
You approach him.
"Let's play a game: I ask you a questions, if you lie or refuse to answer, I hurt you. But, if you tell me the truth then I can guarantee you'll be fed. Sounds good? Then lets play. Who did they send in to follow 'Celestia's' wish, or are you just a nameless pony that decided to randomly slay others?"
He doesn't respond.
"I'd talk if I were you." One of your guards suggest.
"I don't know," The other says, "I'm starting to like this Queen."

What do you do?
>>
>>30905593
Good thinking anon.
>>
>>30906714
Whip him in the face.
>>
>>30906712
Was it too late?
>>
>>30906772
Nah. Plenty of time to do the things I had in mind after this.
Would have liked to be there for the early parts of the torture but oh well. I still get to do the fun part.
>>
>>30906714
hold out a hoof.
Pass me the least painful implement, I think it's time I had my fun. if it's the whip: oh good, I can get started then, whip him across te face 3 times, asking his name after each whipping. Remain calm, let no aggression show in our voice, only in our actions.
if it's not the whip then thank the guards and proceed with the rest.
>>
>>30906714
Fine, you are a nameless pony who is destined to receive this treatment as destined by Celestia according to your actions.
>>
>>30906766
>>30906799
>>30906809
"Pass me the least painful implement."
One of the guards come over and gives you the whip. It was a simple whip made out of hard rope.
You proceed to whip him across the face three times, asking his name with each whip, but keeping yourself calm.
"It's Starstrike." He says after; face bleeding from the bruising and cuts reopening.

What do you do?
>>
>>30906714
What's his cutie mark?
>>
>>30906905
Is this quest set post luna return?
>>
>>30906905
Where can we find this other agent that will be inciting the guards into acting up again?
>>
>>30906905
Thank you Starstrike? Can I call you Starstrike? I'm going to call you Starstrike. So, Starstrike, fortunately for you, yet unfortunately for me, you answering me gets you a guaranteed day of meals AND means I won't move on to a more painful method. Yet. Send a guard off to espionage, tell him to find out all they can on a ony named Starstrike matching his description.
Now, Starstrike, who's this other agent you're meant to be working with? If he doesn't answer do the three whippings again.
>>
>>30906960
I thinl our next thing should be a hard slap rathar than whipping.
>>
>>30906998
Agreed. Confessing should be rewarded with less harsh punishment, but will be back to whipping if he refuses to comply.
>>
>>30906998
I'm not sure if we should be damaging our dainty queenly hooves on such a ruffian, but if anyone else agrees with you then Pluto can change it.
>>
>>30907015
I more just meant for variety.
>>
>>30907018

>>
>>30907015

Change >>30906960 from whippings to hooves and any related text please.

>>
>>30906960
Are we feeling shitty about this? I feel like we should be, but I don't know.
>>
>>30907059

>>

Post.

>>30906928
>>30906960
"Thank you Starstrike," You smile, "Can I call you Starstrike? I'm going to call you Starstrike. So, fortunately for you, yet unfortunately for me, you answering me gets you a guaranteed day of meals AND means I won't move on to a more painful method. Guard, find out what you can on on Starstrike."
One of them nods and leaves.
"Now, who's the other agent and where can I find him?"
He doesn't answer, which leads you to slap him hard three times.
"I'm not answering!" He pants; blood dripping from his mouth.

What do you do?
>>
>>30907072
Get the knife.
Lightly cut along a hoof.
>>
>>30907072
Oh thank you so much Starstrike, don't get me wrong, I enjoy using my hooves, but whipping is so much more fun! Ask him the same question. if he doesn't answer, whip him three times.
>>
>>30907072
Blindfold him. Torture the mind as well.
>>
>>30907091
I disagree, I think it should be a progression, knives come after whips, which come after hooves.
>>
>>30907091
>>30907095
>>30907104
>>30907115
"Oh thank you so much, Starstrike," You smile, "Don't get me wrong, I enjoy using my hooves, but whipping is so much more fun!"
You take the whip, and blindfold him.
"Where's the other agent?"
Doesn't respond.
You whip him again three times, and once again he refuses to respond.

What do you do?
>>
>>30907235
Move on to the knife.
>>
>>30907235
Oh, my dear Starstrike, you've just made things a fair bit worse for youself haven't you? I'll ask again, Who is the other agent? If he doesn't respond, hold out a hoof and ask for the knife.
Use the knife on the woulds from the whip, make the cuts long and drawn out, after every cut ask the same question. Do it three times, on th third time, make the cut quick, it'll shock him, adding just that much more fear.
>>
>>30907235
Feel the knife around him but don't always go for a cut. He's blindfolded and his sense will play tricks on him.
>>
>>30907247
>>30907272
>>30907280
"Oh, my dear Starstrike," You say, "You've just made things a fair bit worse for yourself, haven't you? I'll ask again, who is the other agent?"
Still doesn't respond.
"...Knife."
You get the knife and approach him. Using the knife to feel around his face, but not do anything with it.
When he doesn't respond again you use the knife on the wounds from the whip. Making the cuts long and dragged out.
You do this three times, before making one quick cut which shocks him.
"He's at the Highland Church talking with some of the town guard!" He quickly exclaims.

What do you do?
>>
>>30907355
Good choice.
Punch him in the stomach and tell the guards to head out there. We are coming as well.
>>
>>30907355
Turn to the remaining Guard, tell him to send 4 units of guards to the church and apprehend anyone there, we can sort the innocent from the guilty later, what' important now is that as few die as possible. Tell him to come back after he's sent word.
>>
>>30907381
Don't punch him in the stomach. We want to give him a reward for answering by stopping the pain. Hurting him after his answer won't help in future questions.
>>
>>30907381
I think I disagree with just about all of this. we shouldn't punch him in the stomach, he gave us an answer, that should not be punished. We shouldn't go, we have a few more questions to ask
>>
>>30907383
I just realised I didn't include any text to indicate what we should say to Starstrike.
Thank you Starstrike, that's a guaranteed meal for you, and a step down on the torture ladder. I have another question, this one should be easy for you to answer. Is this what she'd want? Is this what the all loving Princess Celestia would want? Even if you believe me to be guilty of something, and I'm still not sure what that could be, you hurt my daughter. She's just a little girl, she's never hurt anyone in her life. Do you think if the princess were here she'd congratulate you? The same princess who we all know cares deeply for her subjects over in Equestria? Would she view what you've done as right, or something else? Tell me.
>>
>>30907458
I don't know about this.
It's not like he attacked her. She was the one who joined in.
>>
>>30907477
I agree. It's not right to give him shit when she was the one who attacked him first.
>>
>>30907477
he still hurt her though, and it worsens the psychological effect on him if we say he hurt an innocent girl who isn't us, rather than calling ourselves innocent, which I doubt he believes.
>>
>>30907486
I think it should be fine to say it a bit but going that in depth with it when she did start it seems wrong.
>>
>>30907507
This.
Just say celestia would be disapointed he hurt a child. A full speach is too much here.
>>
>>30907477
I agree, but if he was successful, he would have taken a mother's life in front of her daughter. We should mention that.
>>
>>30907507
>>30907514
I disagree BUT I MUST FOLLOW THE GROUP!
change >>30907458 to be a little less severe on the child front, while I still think it works as a psychological torture, the others disagree with how it's said.

"Good choice," You tell him, "Send four units of guards to the church and apprehend anyone there, we can sort the innocent from the guilty later."
The guard nods and gallops off.
"That's a guaranteed meal for you, and a step down the torture ladder, though I'd imagine that Celestia would be disappointed that you hurt a child."
His head lowers down as he starts to think about this.
"So, what do you want us to do with him," Gethin asks, "His crimes are attempted regicide, compliance with a coup, and assaulting of a child... Two of the three are punishable by death."

What do you do?
>>
>>30907635
Execute him.
He tried to kill me with a knife. Kill him with a knife.
>>
>>30907651
>executions that fit the crime.
I love it.
>>
>>30907635
He's also assisted in dismantling a coup and answered my questions. He gets the rest of his life in prison. Unless I find out he's lied to me, if he has, he dies.
>>
>>30907635
Isn't there any more information he could give? Won't extremists use this as propaganda against us once they find out we executed a Celestialist? I feel we more information and time, and he did comply and give us information. We're not even sure if we said is verified to be true yet...
>>
>>30907663
If it wasn't clear that was a seconding of execution.
>>
>>30907651
Going to vote no. Were not sure if he told the truth yet. If all is true, we should imprison him as an example of mercy to those who comply. If he's lying, we need to interrogate him more before execution.
>>
>>30907635
Oh crap a tie. Guess I have to break it.
Say we will hold him for now and work out what to do with him once we deal with this.

No, we could still get information from him.

"Alright," Gethin says, "Also, you did good with the interrogation."

What do you do?
>>
>>30907749
Thank you.
So do you have a family gethin?
>>
>>30907749
Yes I did Grethin, but that's not a good thing. I feel disgusted.
I think we should draft a letter to the princess, capturing the ponies in the church won't do much as a whole, but if their god says that what they've done is wrong then there's no way for them to justify it to themselves.
>>
>>30907775
Not this
>>
>>30907749
I had a very good motivation. Let's say a mother's fury is something you never want.
>>
>>30907775
>I feel disgusted.
No.
Torture guilt worked for Frosty Rime but I don't think it fits here.
>>
>>30907775
Maybe this? I'm not sure if we're used to torture. We should definitely try to contact the princess later though
>>
>>30907794
To clarify when I say not this I am only refering to the i feel disgusted part
>>
>>30907802
Fair enough, I still feel the letter work though, a statement from the princess would shut this down for good.
>>
>>30907775
>I feel disgusted.
I don't think we should feel bad.
Contacting the princess sounds fine. It probably won't work but it can't hurt to try.
>>
>>30907767
>>30907775
>>30907796
"Thank you," You tell him, "And I had a good motivation. Let's say a mother's fury is something you never want."
You start to think about possibly getting a letter to Princess Celestia. It might make things easier with dealing with Celestialist.
"...Do you have a family, Gethin?" You ask.
"A adopted son," He replies, "Why?"

What do you do?
>>
>>30907902
Just curious and wanted to get to know those who work under me better. How old is he now?
Leave the room.
>>
>>30907902
How has your son been? Is he happy?
>>
>>30907927

The two of you start trotting out of the dungeon.
"Just curious," You reply, "And wanted to get to know those who work under me better. How old is he?"
"Fifteen."
"How has he been? Is he happy?"
"He's been good, and he's very happy."
The two of you exit the dungeon, where you are picked up into a hug by Batukhan.

What do you do?
>>
>>30908020
Hey Batukhan. Did you here about what Delkii did? She has my fighting spirit.

Morning Star was sitting on Delkii's bed, trying to comfort Delkii who was hiding under the covers of it.

"...I've never hurt somebody on purpose before." She mutters.

"You did the right thing, dear," You tell her, "It's not nice, but sometimes we have to hurt people to protect what we love."
She takes a moment to think about this before snuggling up against you.
"...My nose still hurts." She says; rubbing her cast.

What do you do?
>>
>>30909119
I am sure you hurt less than he does

"I am sure you hurt less then he does." You tell her.

You check the clock in the room. It was around four in the afternoon.

You haven't eaten lunch yet, and you were pretty hungry.
You gather up the family and go to eat. Sitting down at the kitchen with them as the chefs bring out some daisy sandwiches.
As you were eating Caiside trots in.
"Queen Ivory," He says to you, "I lead the forces to the church, and we found success. We have successfully arrested thirty Deer and five ponies, most of them in the Town Guard."

What do you do?

"We are currently doing so."
"While you are here I thought you might be happy to know I chose to keep the heavy funding you have been giving to environmental concerns."
"Awesome," He smiles, "It seems to be working as more forests have been growing here instead of shrinking."

"Any tips for the Meeting of the Kings?" You ask.
"Not really." Caiside replies; shaking his head.
He leaves and allows the four of you to eat.
You all soon finish your meal. The sun now beginning to go behind the horizon.

What do you do?
>>
>>30909554
We better get ready to leave.
But first we should have a message sent out to the newspapers that there is to be no visual representation of our daughter printed in relation to the assaination attempt. Their apperances are largly unknown and we would like to keep it that way.
Then realize we may have already fucked that up with the broadcast of the coronation depending on if they were ever in focus.
>>
>>30909554
Time to prepare ourselves to head to the capital.
>>
>>30909605
>>30909635
It was time to leave. You really quickly send out a message to the newspapers that there is to be no visual representation of your daughter printed in relation to the assassination attempt.
You then head outside. Outside waiting for you was a carriage, that was slightly larger then what you were use to. Being pulled by four strong Roe Deer.
Your family comes out to say goodbye. Morning Star was trying not to cry as you got ready to go.

What do you do?
>>
>>30909674
Remind the kids to make sure dad does not ruin everything while we are gone, give them each a kiss and hop in.

Do we have a retinue? If so how large?
Are there any weapons inside the carriage?
>>
>>30909706
By each a kiss I include Batukhan.
We should take the fast route through the mountains rather than the safe route through the plains.
>>
>>30909674
It's okay Morning Star. I'll be back.
Hug our family and kiss Baku.
>>
>>30909712
I think we should go through the plains.
>>
>>30909724
I suppose it would be interesting to find out what exactly was meant by the capital of that province is rough (although I don't get why we can't go around it)

"It's okay Morning Star," You tell her; picking her up, "I'll be back."
You put her down, reminding them to make sure dad doesn't ruin everything while you were gone before giving them all a kiss and hoping in.
The door closes and you are off in the carriage. It was pretty nice on the inside: Two comfy benches with some pillows, a basic crystal light, and in one corner was a crossbow with several arrows.
"So your majesty," You hear one of the pullers ask, "Which route do you want to take to Capital?"

You then check the crossbow. It was made out of a flexible steel, obviously from Marsh where most of the Federation's weapons were made.

What do you do?
>>
>>30913891
Alright then, let's go!
>>
>>30913891
Make conversation. Ask our escorts anout their families.
>>
>>30913917
>>30913918
"Let's go!"
You shift a bit as the carriage starts moving into the city. Several Deer look at it as it passes, but don't do anything else.
"Do you guys have families?" You ask the escorts.
They all say no.

What do you do?
>>
>>30914008
have a nap.
>>
>>30914008
Sorry, I didn't mean to bring something difficult up.
>>
>>30914035
>>30914051
"Sorry," You apologize, "I didn't mean to bring something difficult up."
You lay down on one of the benches and soon are taking a nap.

You were rudely awoken by the carriage rocking rapidly, and falling on the floor. Groaning a bit after your head impacted the hard wood floor.
"Are you alright?" You hear one of your escorts ask.

What do you do?
>>
>>30914098
No, I have been felled by this hard wooden carriage. my life is over, tell my family I love them.
>>
>>30914098
Just a rude awakening other than that I think I am fine.
>>
>>30914098
All is well. This wooden carriage will have to do better than that. In all seriousness, I'm fine, mr?
>>
>>30914098
Yes. What happened?
Grab for our crossbow in case it was an attack.
>>
>>30914113
>>30914138
>>30914146
>>30914206
"No," You reply, "I have been felled by this hard wooden carriage. My life is over, tell my family I love them... I'm fine. What happened?"
You get up and grab your crossbow.
"The road just got rough," He tells you, "We're just about to get out of the mountains."

What do you do?
>>
>>30914532
Alriggt.
Put our bow down and look out at the scenery.
>>
>>30914597
*alright
>>
New phone troubles.

>>30914597
"Alright."
You put the crossbow away and trot out to look at the scenery.
The mountain range was now ending, leading to the start of the great plains. Way in the distance you could see the mountains of High Province.
The sun has just set, the sky slowly turning black as night approached.

What do you do?
>>
>>30914689
Head to sleep. Ask to be woken if anything of note is seen or when we reach the capital of nova tribuna.

Before that though make a bit more conversation. None of them have families so ask them if anybody has their eye on a girl, or even a boy.
>>
>>30914689
I shluld buy a new phone
>>
>>30914689
Are we out of the dangerous area?
If yes go take a nap and ask to be awoken when close to the destination. If no stay alert for everything.
>>
>>30914721
The dangerous area was on the other route.
The city on this route is a little rough though.
>>
>>30914711
>>30914721
>>30914730
You trot back to the carriage to go to sleep. Asking them to wake you if anything of note occurs or you reach Nova Tribina.
The carriage starts moving again, before you go to sleep you decide to make some small talk. Asking the escorts if they had their eyes on a special person.
Two of them did. One, who was a Deer from Equestria had an interesting story to tell about it, raising everyone's spirits for the night.
You soon go to sleep.

You have a dream.
You were in some sort of pitch-black room, which seemed to be endless in it's size.

What do you do?
>>
>>30914769
Pummel the floor to try and break it.
>>
>>30914779
You start punching at the floor to try and break it.
After what feels like hours you do so, the floor giving way under you as you fall into a white void.
The fall was endless, just you, a white void, and a crow.
A crow?

What do you do?
>>
>>30914846
Say hello to the crow
>>
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RW2U-dL8hNQ
I couldn't resist
>>
>>30914852
"Hello Crow." You smile.
The crow simply flies next to you. It's beak then starts opening, wider then it normally should be able to.
"RRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
You then wake up, sitting up on the bench.

What do you do?
>>
>>30915221
Odd dream.
Ask where we are up to.
>>
>>30915221
Take a moment to compose ourselves from that bizarre dream.
>>
>>30915238
>>30915295
You take some time to compose yourself from the bizarre dream you just had.
After a few minutes you slowly get up.
"Where are we?" You ask.
"We are a mile out of the capital of Nova Tribina." One of your escorts replies.

What do you do?
>>
>>30915309
You guys wouldn't happen to know of any bakeries in the city open this late would you?
>>
>>30915324
"You guys wouldn't happen to know of any bakeries in the city open this late, would you?"
"There's a few," The only female escort replies, "They are usually welcoming, which is nice for a place like this. Why?"

What do you do?
>>
>>30915401
Would it be possible to stop at one?
>>
>>30915401
I could use something fresh from one.
>>
>>30915462
>>30915410
Do we even have any currency?
Or do we use the same?
>>
>>30915472
The coins are minted in capital so I assume each province used the same curreny.
>>
I gotta go to work so I am gonna put in a vote in advance for getting something with cream in it or something.
>>
>>30915410
"Would it be possible to stop at one?" You ask.
"We're making surprisingly good time," One of the escort says, "So we should be able to."
Your carriage soon comes to Nova Tribina: It was a rough city where the mob ruled it's king with gold, whatever the mob wanted they would get. It had a nice mix of old and modern buildings, mostly older buildings.
Your escorts lead you through the main street of the city, which had plenty of lights so many would see if you were in trouble.
A quarter of the way through the carriage stops at a small bakery place, which the female escort described as: Pretty good.

What do you do?
>>
>>30916048
Buy some bread.
>>
>>30916053
You trot in and quickly order something.
You get some cream-filled bread, paying the Deer before trotting out.

What do you do?
>>
>>30916130
Taste the bread. If not "pretty good" return it.
>>
>>30916174
this, but without the returning.
considering we have royal bakers, pretty good is entirely relative, we can't be expectiong the same quality.
>>
>>30916130
Relax and eat our meal.
>>
>>30916174
Making a scene by returning eaten bread isn't really worth it.
>>
>>30916174
>>30916224
>>30916227
You then take a bite out of the bread. It tasted a bit weird, but it was actually pretty good.
You find a nearby place to relax for a while and start eating, soon finishing the bread with a satisfied stomach.

What do you do?
>>
>>30916236
thank the guard that recommended the place and lets keep going.
>>
>>30916236
Go back to the carriage and see what they are up to if they want a break let's take a break.
>>
>>30916236
Thank the guard and buy everyone bread.
>>
>>30916242
>>30916250
>>30916272
You go inside and buy more bread, giving it to the escorts who quickly bite into them.
The five of you spend some time eating the treats and relaxing before finishing.
"...Ready to keep going?" One of your escorts ask.

What do you do?
>>
>>30916312
Yes, let's go.

Fuck, I never hit reply, this thing has been sitting here for half an hour
>>
>>30916312
Ready.
>>
>>30916437
>>30916477
kek

"Yep, let's go."
You get back in the carriage and are soon off. Passing through Nova Tribina just fine before once again going through the plains, where you fall asleep.

You don't have any weird dreams this time. What wakes you up being the very dim light of the morning sun coming up and the carriage stopping.
"My Queen," One of your escorts knock, "We're just outside of Capital."

What do you do?
>>
>>30916483
Step out and have a look at the city from the outside. We haven't been here in many years after all.
>>
>>30916500
You step out to have a look at the city. You haven't been here in years after all.
As soon as you step out your lungs are assaulted by a foul smell, one you never really liked: The smell of dirty industry.

What do you do?
>>
>>30916542
Bear through it.
>>
>>30916542
Breathe in deep and embrace the glorious capitalism.
>>
>>30916542
ignore it, we must push forward!
when we take over the place, we should probably raze it to the ground.
>>
>>30916569
It's the capital, we might as well destroy the factory that was made in it.
>>
>>30916551
>>30916564
>>30916569
You take a deep breath, you had to bear through it.
Very close by was Capital in it's glory: Most, if not all, of it's buildings were modern. A few small skyscrapers sat in the middle, surrounded by smaller buildings, that were then surrounded by housing. The southernmost part of the city was more colorful, and rich looking, with the castle standing in the middle of the southern part. A wall stood around the city, and in the distance you could see the factories. Even though it was early morning you could see activity going on in Capital.

What do you do?
>>
>>30916600
well, let's get back into the carriage. To wherever we're going!
>>
Stopping for the night.
Have a good night or day!
>>
>>30916600
Let's get going.
>>
>>30916437
I used to do that quite often.
>>
>>30916542
Decide that if we are ever forced to have factories we will keep them far from the city.
>>
>>30917629
Oh oops. Silly me, posted a prompt too early.
>>
>>30916600
Decide that if we are ever forced to have factories we will keep them far from the city.
And that were we to ever march our armies to here we would make sure they learnt to bear the smell before they got here

Step inside the carriage and head into the city.

Recall everything we know about each of the kings.
>>
>>30917648
>Recall everything we know about each of the kings.
We should also recall what we know of each province. All we know so far about everything but nova tribina is the religion.
>>
>>30917658
Also how the different provinces has historically gotten along.
>>
>>30917658
We know high privince has bandits
>>
>>30916600
I'm unclear. Does the carriage have windows?
If so look out of them. Otherwise just sit in the carriage and wait. May as well head straight for the meeting.
>>
>>30917658
Which was the religion of each.
Does each provinces dominate religion match with that of it's king?
>>
>>30917648
>Recall everything we know about each of the kings.
In hindsight we should have reviewed this before we left.
Now we have to go off memory.
>>
>>30917958
You're right. We should have had somebody bring us notes on them.
Too late now.
>>
>>30917993
Hopefully we can remember enough to get us through.
>>
How is nobility in the federation set up? Do dukes and lords and shit run their little areas?
>>
>>30918313
Kingdom this small you wouldn't have much of a fief.
But I suppose a single village is all you need really.
>>
Going to start a little later today. I have things to do.
>>
>>30916610
>>30916657
>>30917629
>>30917648
>>30917940
"Let's get going." You say; hoping back into the carriage.
The carriage starts rolling, you look out of the window as it does. A few guards redirect the carriage to the south gate of the city, which meant that you had a bit of time to think.
You star to think about what you knew about each king.
There was Drust, king of High Province. He was a bit mad and unpredictable, though there was a method to his madness. He was a Musk Deer. Celestialist.
There was Gwenaël, king of Nova Tribina. Greedy, lazy, and a glutton. Easily swayed by others, which was why the mob ruled Nova Tribina now. A Redwood Deer. Celestialist.
There was Taranis, king of Chital. He was kind, smart, and at times funny. He seemed to at least want to know you as he has sent you numerous Chital dresses on your birthdays, even to your two daughters. Chital Deer. Recent convert to Neltic.
There was Jago, king of Oceania, He was the oldest king and the only one that survived the night that took your father. He was old, wise, thoughtful, and loyal. A Fallow Deer. Neltic.
There was Einion, king of Marsh. Aggressive, a good fighter, and also loyal. Water Deer. Celestialist.
Then there was the emperor again, Dunstan. Bit of an egoist, zealot, and a bit of a doe-chaser.

What do you do?
>>
>>30920253
Does each kings religion match up with the most common religion in their kingdom?
>>
>>30920253
Leave our knife in the carriage. Not sure how well it will go over if we bring a weapon to the meeting.
>>
>>30920286
And just wait in the carriage until we arrive.
>>
>>30920253
Any Neltic or Celestialist king treat their belief fanatically? With how things are escalating, we might need to be aware how those kings will react.
>>
>>30920275
>>30920286
>>30920290
>>30920296
All the kings religions matched up with the common religion in the province, except for Chital and Oceania, which was mostly Celestial. The only one who took it seriously was Dunstan, while Drust was basically the opposite and couldn't care for it.
The carriage soon arrives at the south gate and is let through. What surprised you upon enter was there seemed to be more ponies then actual white-tailed deer as Capital had. It was a bit strange for you.
After several minutes the carriage arrives to the castle, going through a small roundabout with a gate before coming to the main entrance.
The door opens and you step out, leaving your knife in the carriage. Smoothing out your dress a bit as you get out.
Several guards stood around you at the stairs that lead up to the entrance. At the top was a tall white-tail deer, wearing an important looking suit. Emperor Dunstan, who was looking down at you with a small smile.

What do you do?
>>
>>30920364
So we are the last province that is mostly neltic.
Gyess we have rough days ahead of us.
>>
>>30920364
Greet him as we are expected to do so.
>>
>>30920364
Hopefully the Emperor won't force us to convert our providence to Celestialist.
>>
>>30920379
>>30920387
>>30920409
You silently hoped that the Emperor won't force you to convert. You didn't really like the thought of that.
You climb the stairs and are soon standing face to face with the emperor.
"Morning, Emperor Dunstan," You smile; bowing slightly, "I'm Queen Ivory Stalks."
"Charmed," He smiles, "You may rise. I've actually been waiting to meet you for some time now."
As soon as you rise he takes one of your hooves and plants a kiss on it. Quickly putting it down.
"Come," He tells you, "Breakfast with the kings is beginning soon, then the meeting. Though Drust is still late."

What do you do?
>>
>>30920468
That is unfortunate.
Head to breakfast
>>
>>30920468
Go have breakfast with the rest of the kings.
>>
>>30920485
>>30920513
"That is unfortunate." You reply; following him in.
The castle was nice and warm, being made out of grey bricks.
After going down a few halls you soon arrive at the dinning hall. Dunstan simply throwing open the doors before trotting in.
"Attention all!" He exclaims, "Queen Ivory Stalks has just arrived, the first Queen of the Federation!"
All the kings simply stared at you from the table. Three of the chairs were empty, the biggest one obviously for Dunstan, one of the empty ones was next to the emperor's chair, and where Taranis was sitting. The other was on the opposite side away from the emperor.

What do you do?
>>
>>30920575
Sit away from the emperor
Who are we sitting next to?
>>
>>30920575
>opposite side away from the emperor.
Sit in this chair
>>
>>30920581
>>30920593
You decide to sit in the chair away from him, the chair being on the other side of the table.
You end up sitting next to Jago, who gives you a polite smile as you sit down. His coat was beginning to grey, and his face had many laugh lines, which added to his wise look.
"The first Queen," He says; quietly smiling, "I never thought I'd see the first Queen in my lifetime."

What do you do?
>>
>>30920672
I'm happy that I managed to give you a new experience. It is a pleasure to meet you, Jago.
>>
>>30920672
I just hope I can live up to those who came before me.
>>
>>30920694
>>30920695
"I just hope I can live up to those who came before me," You say, "It is a pleasure to meet you, Jago."
He gives you a nod in return.
"Alright," Dunstan says; sitting down at his chair, "Drust is late at the moment, meaning we won't be eating just yet."
You hear a few groans come from the table.
"He should be here so-"
The doors once again burst open, sadly kinda crushing the two guards standing diligently next to it. A musk deer soon trots in, looking around the room with a bored expression before brightening.
"Come on," The deer shouts, "Perk up a bit, huh! This isn't a funeral!"
Dunstan proceeds to place his hooves on his face and sigh.
"Here's the new Queen," The deer exclaims; trotting over to you and putting a hoof around you, "Mighty interesting, huh? Now being able to have all the buck dicks you w-"
"Drust," Jago tells him, "Don't overwhelm the poor dear."

What do you do?
>>
>>30920788
I suppose I could but my husbands dick is the only dick for me.
>>
>>30920795
This.
>>
>>30920788
I suppose I do have the power to go order some bucks to do such a thing, but concubines don't really interest me.
>>
>>30920795
>>30920821
>>30920831
"I suppose I could," You smile, "But, my husband's dick is the only dick for me. Concubines aren't really my thing."
Drust smiles before going to his seat.
"Alright," Dunstan says, "Now that everyone is here we can eat."
Several chefs come out and give you all some food. Drust, amusingly, got a giant block of cheese.
You get a large bowl of breakfast salad, but you were surprised when Jago got a large slab of meat.

What do you do?
>>
>>30920922
Didn't know you ate meat.
>>
>>30920922
Have we ever eaten meat before?
>>
>>30920925
>>30920969
"Didn't know you ate meat." You comment.
"Not many do." He replies.
You've never really eaten meat before. The closest thing to meat you had was fish, which was quickly figured out to be that you didn't like fish.

What do you do?
>>
>>30921462
How common is fish eating?
Eat our own food.
Observe the kings.
>>
>>30921462
Do we know anybody who eats meat?
>>
>>30921462
Continue to eat.
>>
>>30921519
>>30921573
>>30921591
You start eating your food. Only a few deer ate meat, fish eating was more common anyway.
You start to observe the kings eating. Most of them were just focusing on eating, though you watch in amusement as Drust tries to shove the cheese down this mouth.
You then notice Dunstan looking at out of the corner of your eye, though he quickly looks away and goes back to eating when you catch it.

What do you do?
>>
>>30921700
Finish our meal.
>>
>>30921700
Curious. Wonder what he wants.
>>
>>30921738
I bet he sent the love letter.
>>
>>30921759
Think of the scandal if the emperor is caught courting a neltic.
>>
>>30921759
If this is true, then this is going to get complicated. Why would a doe-chaser like him want us? Doesn't he have a wife or concubines?
>>
>>30921717
>>30921738
You start to wonder what he wanted, but you ignore it for now.
You soon finish your meal. Along with everyone else.
"Now," Dunstan stand up, "Before the meeting I was thinking it might be nice for everyone to get to know each other. Might help things in the meeting."

What do you do?
>>
>>30921801
Sounds like a good idea to me.
We should tell Gwenaël his city has excelent bakeries.
>>
>>30921801
Time to meet Taranis. He really seems to want to know us as his actions have proved. The question is why though? Also, subtly observe Dunstan. Does he continue to act strange? I bet he wants to use this opportunity to talk to us.
>>
>>30921855
Oh right Taranis
>>30921826
Disregard this for now
>>
>>30921826
>>30921855
>>30921873
Everybody gets up and starts talking with each other. You quickly go to see Taranis, as he was eager to get to know you. Soon reaching him.
"Queen Ivory," He smiles, "I've been waiting to meet you for quite a while. How have things been in Highland?"
As he says this you look over to Dunstan. He was currently talking with Gwenaël, taking looks at you every once and a while. Probably to keep track of you.

What do you do?
>>
>>30921917
Some minor religious troubles and an assination attempt but it is being dealt with.
>>
>>30921940
*assassination

Things have started out rough, but are being handled. It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Taranis. You are quite generous with your gifts.

"Things have started out rough," You admit, "Some minor religious troubles and an assassination attempt, but they are being handled. It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Taranis. You are quite generous with your gifts."
"Thank you," He smiles, "My daughter has too many dresses anyway."
He chuckles a bit before sighing.
"...You've been Neltic your whole life, correct?"

What do you do?
>>
>>30922617
As far back as I can remember. Why do you ask? He's Neltic himself, so what could he want?
>>
>>30922617
And I intend to stay that way.
>>
>>30922686
>>30922687
"As far back as I can remember," You say, "And I intend to stay that way. Why do you ask? You're Neltic yourself."
"Yes," He replies, "But, I'm a recent convert. I was hoping you would have some tips for a recent convert like me. Maybe even send a priest or two to me to help?"

What do you do?
>>
>>30922742
That could easily be arranged. I'll make sure to send a priest over once I return.
>>
>>30922742
Don't force Nelitc belief. You can freely spread the teachings of it, but you must not enforce it. No one appreciates being told what to think.

"That can easily be arranged," You smile, "Don't force Neltic belief. You can freely spread the teachings of it, but you must not enforce it. No one appreciates being told what to think."
"Thank you," He smiles, "This change has been difficult with all the death threats and su-"
"That's enough of that," Dunstan says; placing his hooves over your ears, "Taranis, I will not have you taint this Queen's mind with your new... religion!"
Taranis simply glares at Dunstan. He probably would attack him if he wasn't Emperor.

What do you do?
>>
>>30922853
Emperor Dunstan, it is a pleasure to finally meet you. I must thank you for sending me that letter...
It is an honor to invited to the Meeting of the Kings.

If he did send that love letter, then that means he sent two letters to us. His reaction would tell us a lot.
>>
>>30922937
"Emperor Dunstan," You say; taking his hooves off of you, "It is a pleasure to finally meet you. I must thank you for sending me that letter... It is an honor to be invited to the Meeting of the Kings."
You see a look of surprise flash across his face, but it was so quick that you weren't sure if it even was surprise.
"Thank you," He smiles, "I hope you're enjoying it so far. After the meeting a small party between all of us shall be held. I do have to apologize for Drust's behavior earlier."

What do you do?
>>
>>30923001
An apology isn't necessary. I found his mad behavior to be an entertaining surprise.
>>
>>30923001
I don't much mind, I might have said similar things in his position.
I won't turn down a party though.
>>
>>30923043
>>30923075
"An apology isn't necessary," You tell him, "I might have said similar things in his position, and I found his mad behavior to be an entertaining surprise. I won't turn down a party though."
"Nice," He smiles, "The party should be fun: Finest wine you can find in the Federation, and the best food! How have things been in Highland? Haven't heard much from the north."

What do you do?
>>
>>30923126
There is some minor tension with religion right now. There was even an assassination sent after me which I had to fight off myself, but everything is being handled as we speak.
>>
>>30923172
"There is some minor tension with religion right now," You admit, "There was even an assassin sent after me which I had to fight myself, but everything is being handled as we speak."
"Sounds rough," He replies, "Religion is a delicate matter. I do understand that you're married, though to who I don't know. Any kids?"

What do you do?
>>
Stopping for the night.
Have a good night or day!
>>
>>30923265
I was married off to Batukhan, of the Veaso Horde, at the age of eight as part of an arranged marriage.
Currently, we are happily together with two daughters, both of whom are twins at the age of three. Had children a little early, but I certainly don't regret what I have.
>>
>>30923265
A yak by the name of Batukhan.
I have two wonderful daughters, twins. They turn three in four days.
I would be happy to tell you more about them during the party but for now I wish to make sure I get at least some small conversation with each king.
If he permits us to leave go talk to jago next, we got some small conversation but a little more can't hurt.
If Jago is busy try Gwenaël. Tell him his city has fine bakeries

"I was married off to a yak named Batukhan, of the Veaso Horde at the age of eight," You explain, "We are happy together with two daughters, twins, both of whom are almost three. Morning Star and Delkii. We had them a little early, but I don't regret what I have. I would love to tell you about them more after the party."
He nods, letting you go off. You quickly spot Jago, standing alone. Leaning on what appeared to be a cane.

What do you do?
>>
>>30927048
Hello again, Jago. It's no secret that you've seen and learned so much in your life. Do you have any advice for a new queen such as myself?
>>
>>30927113
"Hello again, Jago," You smile, "It's no secret that you've seen and learned so much in your life. Do you have any advice for a new Queen such as myself?"
"I would give you some," He rasps, "But, From what I've seen you've been doing well so far."

What do you do?
>>
>>30927183
Thank you.
I think I will defer to your wisdom to set the topic of conversation.
>>
>>30927216
"Thank you," You smile, "I think I will defer to your wisdom to set the topic of conversation."
"Ah, don't talk like that," He chuckles, "Makes me sound like I'm older then I should be!"

What do you do?
>>
>>30927304
So how was your trip up?
>>
>>30927374
"How was your trip up?" You ask.
"Uneventful," He replies, "Besides some rough roads going through High Province it was fine. How your trip here?"

What do you do?
>>
>>30927502
I genuinely have no idea, I slept like a log through most of it. That being said, do you know any books on dream interpretation?
>>
>>30927502
It was fine. I stopped at a bakery in Nova Tribina and had some food, my escorts had some as well. I also listened to one of them tell an interesting story.

"I happened to bring one," He smiles, "I can give it to you tonight if you like."

What do you do?

"That is a stroke of luck," You mutter, "Thank you."
You then trot over to Drust, who was doing nothing at all.
"So," He smiles at you, "The queen graces me with her presence."

What do you do?
>>
>>30928251
Well I had to get to you eventually.
The emperor seems mad about what you said when you first walked in. I don't mind though. Still, how about you make it up to me by telling me about some of your own sexual conquests latter. I am sure you have many interesting stories to tell.
>>
>>30928276
This.

>>30928280
"I had to get to you eventually," You tell him, "The emperor seems mad about what you said when you first walked in."
"Bah," He exclaims, "He just needs to know how to have a good time! He's so much of a stick in the mud!"
"I don't mind though," You tell him, "How about you make it up for me by telling me about some of your own sexual conquests later? I am sure you have many interesting stories to tell."
"From a yak, to a goat, to a donkey, to a pony I have many to tell," He smiles, "Though as price I expect you to tell some as well~"
He finishes with raising and lowering his eyebrows quickly at you.

What do you do?
>>
>>30928332
What. No dragons?
I suppose I have some stories to tell but Like I said. My husband is the only one for me.
>>
>>30928332
That is quite impressive. As I said, concubines never occurred to me. Not when I have a husband can fully satisfy all my desires.
Does the Emperor have a wife at all?
>>
>>30928347
>>30928386
"That is quite impressive," You comment, "No dragons?"
"Haven't figured that out yet."
"I suppose I have some stories to tell, but like I said: My husband is the only one for me, and concubines never occurred to me. Not when my husband has satisfied all my desires."
"Sounds like a good husband." Drust smiles.
The Emperor had yet to find a wife, even though he was eighteen. Though rumors had that he had a bastard running around in the castle from his... adventures.

What do you do?
>>
>>30928433
I shall talk to you at some point after the meeting then.
Einion next. Tell him we heard he was a good fighter and would be interested in sparing with him latter.

Until then, Durst. I am sure you'll make this meeting a bit more entertaining.
>>
>>30928448
>>30928493
"Until then, Durst. I am sure you'll make this meeting a bit more entertaining."
"That's what I plan on doing!"
You head to Einion next, who was drinking something in one of the corners. As you approach he bows respectfully at you.
"I heard you were a good fighter," You say, "I would be interested in sparing with you later."
"I couldn't," He replies, "Not to a doe of your stature, besides you shouldn't even be fighting. You look like you can barely pick up a sword."
It wasn't a insult, more like him looking after you. You were more lithe then muscular anyway, which subtracted from your tom-boyish attitude and personality.

What do you do?

Trust me, I've done my fair share of fighting.

That's too much. An implication of cowardice should be sufficent. If we are gonna get in a fight it should be with the nova tribina king anyway.
>>
>>30928557
Too much. Don't start a whole fight over something that wasn't even meant to be an insult.

>>30928574

I have been planning on exactly that.

"It is indeed," You smile, "I will see you after the meeting then?"
"Yes."
That just left Gwenaël, who was currently stuffing his face with a small bag of muffins. He was a chubby Deer, actually he was kinda fat.
You trot over to him, getting him to look at you.
"Wuf?" He asks; speaking through the muffins.

What do you do?

"I thought I best say hello," You reply, "Your city has some excellent bakeries."
"Oh," He says; quickly swallowing his food, "Thank you! I always make sure the food is in top quality!"

What do you do?
>>
>>30929897
Good food available to all is a nobel goal.
>>
>>30929934
"Good food available to all is a noble goal." You comment.
"Indeed." He smiles.
You start thinking a tiny bit about the Federation. Provinces were allowed to war with each other as long as it didn't effect Capital physically.
You did have a small claim for the Duchy of Gehmwerm, which used to be owned by Highland, but was taken by Nova Tribina before your dad took power. It contained about half of the mountain range in Nova Tribina, and had a small border with Chital's panhandle. It had a lot of minerals, including Gold.
Gehwerm was the reason why relations with Nova Tribina were kinda sour.

What do you do?
>>
>>30930009
So we do have claims in land. That makes declaration of war much more easier. Does Nova Tribina have any allies with the other provinces? We shouldn't do anything aggressive until we're prepared for any fighting
>>
>>30930009
Maybe I could get some advice on food matters from you later.
Then see if everybody else has finished chatting.

>>30909777
What's esa-neria?
>>
>>30928433
So what stories do we tell him?
>>
>>30931176
Easy. Tell him about the time we almost died from swallowing too much.

On that note I kind of like the idea that we are a little ashamed that we prefer to be on the bottom. We went into our first time intending to be on top after all.
>>
>>30931192
I also like that idea.
>>
How high can we jump from a standing start?
>>
>>30931103
It's another Deer Nation. Isolationists.

>>30931604
About six feet.

>>30930027
>>30930032
As far as you knew Nova Tribina had no allies, managing to alienate itself from the Federation by the incompetence of it's king. Nova Tribina could field a larger army, but they were undisciplined from what you remembered.
"Maybe I could get some advice on food matters from you later?" You suggest.
He just shrugs.
It seemed like most people have finished chatting, and Dunstan was sitting in his chair. Getting papers ready for something.

What do you do?
>>
>>30932993
Shrug back, try to seem as chill as possible.
Also, wait to see what Dunstan does.
>>
>>30932993
Get ready for this meeting. It must be important for all of us to be called.
>>
>>30933027
>>30933033
You shrug back.
Dunstan soon calls you all back to the table, waiting for you all to be seated.
"Now," He says; getting his papers ready, "It's time for the meeting to start. It might take a while so we have food and drinks at the ready if they are needed. Now, to start, I would like everyone to list the major problems that they face in their provinces. Ivory Stalks, you may go first."

What do you do?
>>
>>30933090
Right now the major problem I've been having is dealing with a terrorist organization known as the ""Warriors of Sunlight", as of right now they've made an attempt on my life and tried to stage a coup, both of which we stopped, but I doubt they'll stop at that.
>>
>>30933116
"Right now the major problem I've been having is dealing with a terrorist organization known known as the Warriors of Sunlight. As of right now they've made an attempt on my life and tried to stage a coup, both of which has been stopped, but I doubt they will."
"I've been having problems with them as well." Jago agrees.
"It says they are listed as an official organization," Dunstan says; looking at a paper, "Are you sure that's the right name?"

What do you do?
>>
>>30933165
A letter was found on my would be assassin that used their name, and upon interrogation my assassin never once denied being a part of this group.
Does it say anything else about them?
>>
>>30933191
"A letter was found on my would be assassin," You tell him, "That used their name, and upon interrogation my assassin never once denied being a part of this group."
"...I will have to speak with them about this then," Dunstan says; putting the paper away, "Next."
It soon starts going around the table. Most said that religion was a bit problem at the moment with Celestials and Neltics going at it. Only Einion and Gwenaël said otherwise.
"Looks like religion is a problem," Dunstan says, "Probably the Neltics starting them, which wouldn't surprise me."
"Bullshit," Jago curses, "It has always been the Celestials, going up and picking fights with them, and curbing the rights of Neltics won't help like usual!"
Taranis gives a silent nod in agreement with Jago.

What do you do?
>>
>>30933258
With all due respect Dunstan, are you out of your fucking mind? I have had attempts on my life made in the name of Celestialism, can you say the same about the Neltics?
And at any rate, accusing an entire religion of starting fights is stupid and you know it, it's a needlessly aggressive accusation that could only serve to start an argument.
>>
>>30933258
Vilifying and blaming either religion isn't going help with dealing with any issues. It's only going to bring more conflict and resentment.
>>
>>30933305
Think it's a good idea to insult him? Sounds risky too risly for me.
>>
>>30933330
Sounds too risky*
>>
>>30933330
Considering we're Neltics, that was almost a direct insult to us..
>>
>>30933305
>>30933325
"With all due respect Dunstan, are you out of your fucking mind," You ask, "Vilifying and blaming either religion isn't going to help with dealing with the issues. I have had attempts on my life made in the name of Celestialism, can you say the same about the Neltics?"
By the look on his face he wasn't expecting any of you to react like that, even you.
"Accusing an entire religion of starting fights is stupid and you know it, it's a needlessly aggressive accusation that could only serve to start an argument."
You hear a few murmurs of agreement from the table, though Einion didn't say anything. Dunstan just sits there and takes a few breaths before speaking.
"I suppose... my accusation did not have a base to it," He says reluctantly, "Einion you had one?"
"Aye," Einion replies; getting up, "It's the ponies coming in. Everyday in Marsh I see more and more ponies coming in, there are now more ponies then actually Deer. I didn't see a single Deer here in Capital on my way in. I think we should do something about all these ponies, or at least control them so that our culture isn't destroyed by a flood of ponies!"

What do you do?
>>
>>30933355
Perhaps there is a way to assimilate them into our culture? We can't start kick them out or do anything rash with so many of them living here now.
>>
>>30933355
Well, we can't kick them out or rile them up too much, as you said, they're starting to outnumber us and if we did that we'd have a rebellion on our hooves.
>>
>>30933355
We could use the newspapers, start up the propaganda machine, as it were.
>>
Oh shit I missed the start of the meeting.
That will teach me to tire myself out watching movies.
>>
>>30933425
>>30933451
>>30933462
"We can't just kick them out," You say, "We'll rile them up and then we'll have a rebellion on our hooves. Perhaps there is a way to assimilate the into our culture?"
"Indeed," Dunstan agrees, "Ivory Stalks, your ponies have assimilated well correct? Can you tell us how?"

What do you do?

>>30933483
What movies?
>>
>>30933491
>What movies
Thor: the dark world. Looks like I missed some exciting stuff. Oh well.
>>
>>30933491
Tell them about why our ponies intergrate so well.
>>
>>30933491
While I haven't been too involved in the process until now, I can tell you that there has been a fair amount more coverage of deer cultural events and such, while there is less coverage of pony culture, this makes it seem like there's more of a deer culture in the province, and once most believe this to be the truth, it becomes the truth.
>>
>>30933491
Tell them how about our ponies in the providence. Is there a clear reason why our ponies assimilate so easily compared to others?
>>
>>30933505
I liked that film.
>>
>>30933505
Would you have had any overly major suggestions to make anyway?
>>
>>30933656
Eh not really. Maybe suggest a (slightly) less agressive reaction to the accusation neltics were starting it. Also I was gonna have a telegraph message sent home so we could confirm the newspapers followed our request but that can easily wait until after the meeting.
>>
>>30933677
Oh yeah I forgot we had telegraph lines.
>>
>>30933677
Actually there is one other thing I might have suggested. Jokingly suggesting we conquer esa-neria to boost the number of deer in the federation. I only just thought of that then though so I probably would not have thought to say it at the time.
>>
>>30933748
I don't see why we couldn't still say that after we talk about intergration.
As a joke of course.
>>
>>30933509
>>30933524
>>30933544
"While I haven't been too involved in the process," You admit, "I can tell you that there has been a fair amount more coverage of Deer cultural events and such, while there is less coverage of pony culture, this makes it seem like there's more of a deer culture in the province, and once they believe this to be truth it becomes so."
You leave out that most pony foals also saw themselves as Deer in your province instead of ponies.
"That is actually a good idea." Dunstan smiles.
"We could also conquer Esa-Neria to boost the number of Deer." You joke.
This gets everyone to let out a laugh, quickly brightening the dark atmosphere in the room.

What do you do?
>>
>>30933978
I think that's all I have to say for the moment.
>>
>>30933995
"I think that's all I have to say at the moment." You say after the laughter dies down.
"Alright," Dunstan says, "Gwenaël, I believe you have something to say."
"Yes," He nods; standing up, "There are a lot of borders between the provinces, though I have to say the strangest one is the panhandle that Chital owns. I was hoping that I could get that panhandle, to make the borders nicer."
Everyone was silent.
"Like hell I will." Taranis says.
"I'm pretty sure that's not a problem for the Federation," Dunstan says, "It's a problem for you."

What do you do?
>>
>>30934071
I agree with dunstan.
But know if you try and take that panhandle by force we will take the chance to take back Gehmwerm.

"Pfft, Highland has never owned that," Gwenaël says, "Your claim has no basis."
Did he take you for an idiot?

"Though, it's more like you have no idea what you're talking about. Dunstan, isn't it true that Gehmwerm was owned by Highland before my fa-"
*SMACK!*
You stumble back a few paces as your face stung.
Gwenaël had slapped you. He was angry, but it slowly started to get replaced by realization at what he did. All the other kings staring at him.

"Alright," He says, "Shall we get back to the meeting?"

What do you do?

>>30934511
"Yes," You nod, "Perhaps we should talk about international relations next?"
"Yes."
You sit back down, along with Dunstan.
"Now," He says, "Our relations with Equestria are doing well, though they could be better if we figure out the religious turmoil. The Hordes to the north could also be greatly better, and Esa-Neria, we've had no luck with."

What do you do?
>>
>>30934554
I've personally sent a letter to Celestia bringing up the issue with religious turmoil we are facing, hoping that she can make a statement and ease tensions.
>>
>>30934574
I don't think we have sent a letter yet have we?
We can say we are planning to.
>>
>>30934554

Dunstan nods, listening.
"I have also recently received a proposal to marry my daughter to the Arros Horde."
"Strange," Dunstan comments, "That's the more uncivilized one from what I remember."
You hear a few murmurs from the others.

What do you do?
>>
>>30934740
We should talk about industry.
We can't keep the factories contained to capital forever. I propose we should all ensure any factories built in our provinces are kept far from the cities themselves.

>>30934740
Maybe we should look at better relations with the minor societies sorounding equestria.

I agree.

"Maybe we should look at better relations with the minor societies surrounding Equestria?" You suggest.
"There are Zebra to the south of the Federation." Taranis says.

I was thinking more in terms of places physically next to equestria but that is somewhere to look as well I suppose.

"If you count overseas territorial dispute as one." Dunstan replies.
"Minotaurs?"
"Could be better, but it could also be worse." He shrugs.

Well I feel like I am hogging the conversation a little. Anybody else have something to talk about.

"I feel like I'm hogging the conversation a little," You say, "Anybody else have something to talk about?"
Somebody else soon takes the conversation. The talking going on for several hours as you all went back and forth and different issues.
By around five was when the topics ran out.
"Well," Dunstan says; getting up, "I think that's all the topics then... Shall we do the party?"

Now I am wishing I hadn't been late so I could have had that message sent. Didn't really expect the meeting to run that long.
Oh well. Will teach me to get more sleep in future.

I suppose so. Shall we start with the fight I arranged.
>>
I can't be here for the fight so don't forget we can jump 6 feet in the air guys.

And that's just from a standing start.

"Now I'm wishing I hadn't been late so I could have that message sent," You say; stretching as everyone starts heading off, "Didn't really expect the meeting to run that long."
You quickly follow them through the castle to a large room with plenty of windows. It was packed with a few of the nobles of Capital so it wasn't just you guys.
In the middle was a nice clear area, obviously for you and Einion to fight.
The two of you trot into it and stand there as a servant comes out with several wooden swords.
"This fight shall be nonviolent," The servant explains, "It will be with wooden swords so you don't hurt each other, if you get hit you loose. Best two out of three. Choose your sword."
The swords were different: Some were lighter, some were heavier, some were short, some were long.
Einion chooses a heavy, long, wooden sword.

I think a light short sword would be a good choice to use speed instead of strength.
>>
>>30935697
Strength doesn't matter when a small hit is a win.
>>

>>30935745
You take a light, short, sword. It didn't really matter when all you needed was a small hit to win.
After the weapons were chosen the two of you walk away from each other. Soon stopping several feet from each other.
"...Fight!"
