It's basically all of that. I'm surprised you mentioned magic suppression but it's also a factor for me. But even before the clop started the "story" was just unbearable. Let me sperg out about it for a moment. It's like watching vintage porn with a plot about a plumber or something. Not only it was cheap and degrading, Twilight was also portrayed like a slutty prude who's bothered by estrus but fucked literally everyone she knows at least one time. And then the benevolent Anon and no one else can cure her illness and he can do literally anything with her, which was also reinforced later with the horn ring. And so on and so forth. It's like hitting all the tropes and memes, and I dislike all of them. And the icing on the cake is that all of this isn't really needed, just like any story in any porn, but it kept dragging on for so long before anything even started, I find it strange. The "story" was about Twilight dealing with estrus and Anon being the only one to help her, but now the first thing she does is suck his dick. Obviously the plot didn't matter at any stage so it's silly to complain about that, but remember that it took almost half a year for this comic to get to this point. What was the actual point of it all?

And that's even before getting to artstyle, I wasn't even paying attention to it back in the day. Overall it's been going for so long that at this point I can't even find myself bothered by it anymore. I try to focus on positivity and things that I like instead on dwelling on what I dislike but sometimes it's just hard. I don't really feel strong emotions towards it anymore so I guess it's ok now, he managed to drag this on for so long I stopped caring, so at least that's a positive side to it.

It's normal to not think about her 24/7. It's really strange for me and every time I go a day without thinking every minute about her I feel like I'm betraying her. But I assure you, it's no big deal. This is how our brain works, you can't really fight it.
