I'm lonely
not really, but I can't feel the warm of companionship anymore
I have few friends, but I don't feel part of the group
I feel like I don't belong, like I shouldn't be with them. they seems distant, unreachable
sometimes I watch my steam client notifying me that they are playing some game together
I don't like that game, they know it, but sometimes I'd like that they invite me anyway. it could be fun with them
but they don't. and I feel jealousy and envy growing inside me. it hurts... so much
it's been a while since last time they invited me to play something
I still remember when we used to play D&D or monster hunter together... it doesn't happen much anymore
I've started to think that they are actively avoiding me
I tried buying some of their games. they welcomed me and play for few days... then move on. they stop playing that game even if they seemed to enjoy it. just few days after I bought it
it... happened more times that I'm comfortable with
I tried making more fiends, playing more games, taking an hobby. nothing works. I still feel like I'm alone surrounded by cold strangers
I used to laugh at death and suicide jokes. but now... now they makes me smile and ponder: once they start to seem viable options they may lose comedy, but they don't lose the promise of solace
maybe I'm just not a good friend, I'm not good enough at socializing. they told me they are bad too... it doesn't seem like it

sometimes I just want to stay in bed and do nothing
I don't watch to turn on my pc: I could watch their notifications
I don't want to watch my phone: I still have their contacts somewhere
I don't want to go out: I'm too tired
the bed feels nice
looking at he roof for hours or trying to sleep even when I can't are more enjoyable activities. maybe boring, but more enjoyable nonetheless.

I just need someone to play with, someone to talk to. I just need someone... but probably I will not be able to connect

I'm afraid I know how you feel. I made several friends in 2014 but now my group has disintegrated, with some of them actively avoiding me and others I just can't stand.
Most of the day it's just me studying at home, listening to the radio or looking at ponies.

once you got them, yes.
it was so rewarding to smash a deviljho with my hunter friends
the gameplay doesn't change too much from single to multiplayer, but... it's more funny and rewarding
we created all sort of crazy ass story for our roleplay, not only dnd but many other systems, many with ponies too. for years we enjoyed roleplay together, almost everyday.
but now it's all gone... for me. they still play together some other game regularly. I'm... just not invited anymore.
it hurts. after all this years of healthy social interaction... I grew attached to them. returning back to were I just studied, watched anime and played single player games only... it hurts

It sounds like you don't really care about friends. You just want to play games. You can find groups online to do this kind of stuff without needing to make friends

I know. I've often thought about that. When I die I will likely decompose only to be found when my bank accounts are empty and bills go unpaid. I don't want to have animals because I'm afraid they might starve after eating me if no one finds them in time.

not these past two. I did it this year in January from my birthday, for two weeks. I was on a vacation from work, stayed home and didn't communicate with anyone.

at first it was only a game group
but then they became more important to me, I wanted to know them better
I tried being not only the kind of friend you look for when you want to play something
I tried be a the kind of friend you could trust, open to and that would support you
but... that didn't work, I don't know why
and now... it's too late
