The only good AJ episodes are the ones that aren't about her, but her family. Even then, the best apple family episodes have nothing to do with AJ, see brotherhoof or perfect pear.

He did. Unlike AJ, all of Spikes season 6 episodes were good and even his bad season 7 episode is better than AJs. AJ has always had shit episodes unless they involved her family or a new character, and even then, those episodes are good because AJs family/new character carries the episode.
