Say I want a good art - for a desktop background, a profile pic, or just for the collection.
Most patreoners are retarded and set up reward systems where you can have what comes out next or something like that.... but almost never can I say "I want this specific image in its highest quality with no watermark" and pay money for it. No. Have to do some retarded reward shit instead... and basically sit around hoping the artist makes another pic of the same character just as good, or just hoping someone leaks it.
This is why I don't have a problem purchasing stolen artwork as well - fucking make it available and I'll pay for it.

The real trick is to exceed the artist's skills by copying and mimicking their style then doing the pic you want yourself. I remember random blokes doing that with the styles of Atryl and other artists. There is always a certain set of actions you can take to maximize success and minimize the time it takes to get there. The main thing that stands in people's way is either not thinking about it or straight up unwillingness. One could legit spend like 5 to 20 minutes a day working on an image that imitates another artists style.

Just try and talk to the artist directly and see if they will do a commission. They're expensive, but if you want a specific image of a specific character, you have to pay a pretty penny. Most decent artists do commissions. Any that are worth buy from anyway. I think NC does them and Nayaa does them free if he feels like it. I once had a random artist on here do a commission for free.
