WTF I'M LITERALLY CRYING
>>30841180
Good scene but Granny Smith needs to fucking die sometime soon. What a miserable old cunt.
>>30841180
whenever you add "literally" it instantly makes it clear that you aren't actually doing as described.

>>30841180

>>30841193
Except I was. during the song too

WTF HE WAS REALLY CRYING
Am I the only one who is suspicious of Granny?
>>30841208
well, ok...
>>30841209
s-sorry! not.
>>30841196
what is this from?

>>30841180
This episode is better than anything in season 1.
>>30841193
It's a colloquialism you pretentious doodyhead
>>30841248
>You'll never experience love like this
>>30841296
>>30841296
that poses an interesting question.
would you rather find love deep and pure like this and die around age 30 (or whatever young age they died at) or would you rather die alone as a lonely old man?
>>30841327
they had true love, they had kids, they died fulfilled. I'll take that over living an empty shell of a life for 80 years every time
I disagree with this notion. I like human girl tree better.
>>30841334
they had 3 kids, and considering the eldest was still too young to remember anything id say they died full of regret over not being able to see them grow up.
>>30841288
Douchebag
>>30841352
There's quite an age gap between big mac and applebloom. There's no reason why big mac wouldn't remember his parents
>>30841549
i dont think the age gap is as significant as everyone else thinks. the writers fucked up by not aging up the CMC over the years.
>>30841180
>none of the apples ever went to havest the border of the farm
>they never noticed all of the pear trees next to them or this memento tree
>all of the untouched apple trees are perfectly well kept and not full of rotten fruit
what the fuck is this shit?
>>30841599
Magic, motherfucker.
>>30841599
blessing from the tree of harmony
Episode is overrated as fuck. Are you all THAT much thirsty for muh feels?
>>30841652
thats a nice controversial opinion you got there. would be a shame if someone came along and supported your individuality and told you that each person has their own opinion on each episode and thats how it should be.
>>30841674
I like you
>>30841549
UNLESS unless... something traumatic happened *x-files theme*
>>30841674
/mlp/ is all about opinions. It's good to see even the most cynical people on this board like the episode.
However all these threads with people claiming it's the greatest episode ever or saying they were crying or whatever... really? Are you people that emotional over an overdone "forbidden love " plotline?
>>30841785
Personally im more overwhelmed by the fact we finally saw um -Felicia Day as buttercup was also amazing to see, as well as Shatner- and that this episode seems to be as close as were gonna get to a confirmation of death in the show, not just by Faust.
>>30841785
It may not be a new concept but it's something the show's never done before and they pulled it off perfectly IMO
>>30841549
>>30841828
I think I might be falling in love with this mare
>>30841901
It's hard not to.
>>30841785
>really?
ya, really. personally i took about a 10 minute break just sitting here staring at my ceiling when it was over as the tears streamed down my face.
it sucks you werent as touched, but you shouldnt assume that means everyone else is wrong for it.
>>30841961
Oh I liked the episode. Overrated does not mean it's shit.
But I don't think it deserves all that praise. Oh well

>You'll never experience love
>>30841716
Pear Butter x Bright Mac is this show's One True Pairing.
>>30841785
I'm with you man. It's a cool episode and all, but I can't feel that emotionally invested in what is ultimately a pretty generic love story.
The one part that did get me is when Big Mac goes back briefly to ask his father's friend if they can come back to hear more stories. Very small moment, but it felt very genuine, especially coming from Big Mac.

>you'll never experience mild attraction
>you'll never even experience like
