So for those of you who don't know why this happened.... Hasbro's official channel released the EQG shorts and full EQG music videos exclusively on Hasbro's youtube channel. Since there was a place to get these videos officially, there was no reason for people to make pirate posts all over youtube/dailymotion/etc. The music videos have probably been viewed dozens of times by individual viewers as opposed to the occasional mlp episode preview clip (also shown on Discovery Family and also posted by other youtubers) only get viewed once or twice prior to the entire episode being released.

On Hasbro's official channel they just started posting official MLP music videos in august (this month) while the Rainbow Rocks Videos have been available since 2014. So the youtube views aren't accurate representation of popularity.
