I'm always here.

There probably hasn't been a day in the past 3 years I haven't given serious thought to the game in some shape. It's just troubling when an ever present fear of irrelevance that would seem like a good motivator instead manifests itself as a particularly avoidant depression. If there is any person that's excited for development it's me, and if there is anyone that is frustrated at the slow pace it's also me. Shit sucks when you're seeing other people produce art on a weekly or more basis and the single thing you've been working on for ages isn't producing much of note.

But that's sad so I'll switch to going over my current plans/thoughts.

- The next playable release is actually decently close since there a decent chunk of new stuff to show off. The character/outfit select screen being prominent. The playable level will likely be a field of destructible trees that react to your footsteps along with a few vehicle paths to show off the newly implemented curved roads.

- Something that'll happen after the release is a re-work of how you control the character. the point and click stuff now is serviceable but it's not as interactive and accident prone as I want. I got inspired a while ago to go with something closer to helicopter controls.

- Next character I want to make is fluttershy. One of the mechanics I want to implement is a panic meter for the tiny populace that controls how erratic their behavior is. It goes up as you break things in the world, except fluttershy has a calming presence to her and people are less likely to become panicked if she's the character you pick. Also she gets nervous around crowds and is more prone to becoming unbalanced around them.

- Adagio will play into the panic mechanics as well, she's better balanced the higher the meter gets. I'm still not sure about a second trait for her.
