From what I remember, it was created by a guy who hated MLP because it told children that making friends was a good thing, and he claimed that he could create a better MLP. I think his show was basically a carbon copy of FiM, except it stared his OC who beat every problem by 'believing.' Then at some point, he made a three horned Alicorn called Celesto, shipped him with Princess Celestia, and then had the two of them board Celesto's spaceship; which is full of 'better ponies,' and blow up Equestria.

Also Celesto's planet is called Unicornicopia. It's basically the Sonichu of the pony fandom.

Eh, those pictures were taken in Japan. For the most part people mind their own business and there's way weirder stuff going on, so I doubt too many people notice or care unless he dresses out of the norm or deliberately tries to attract attention to himself. Japanese men and women do the same thing with local mascot characters or famous ones like Hello Kitty or Shinchan to put on social media and shit since many people are often more shy or privacy conscious and don't take pictures of themselves. The one in the restaurant is the only one I find a bit strange, but that's probably more cause I think taking pictures of regular meals is stupid. This country is weird and something this tame is hardly something to bat an eye at unless the person taking the picture is 140kg or has terrible hygiene.
