Equestria Games was great. It gets a lot of shit for being the conclusion of the games which were built up over two seasons, but for what it is—a simple character episode—it's pretty good with a cool heroic moment for Spike and a touching moral at the end.

It was cringe done right and I was actually impressed by Spike's improvisational skills for the lyrics. Even though it was meant to be an embarrassing moment, it still managed to show off how based he can be.
