It was a bit lackluster but it was far from shit.

This was basically a S1 Twilight episode with Spike in her role, which is fitting as shes his mum/sister/owner.

He follows the Twilight playbook of making lists, having autistic freakouts about the worst possible scenario and treating friends like problems to be solved instead of people.

Also Spike probably remembered how Look Before You Sleep went down, hence him deciding to keep Thorax and Ember apart.
