Most seasons (1, 2, 4, 5, 7) were good-great, and to try to debate those against each other would require me to split very small hairs.

Season 6 was forgettable in my opinion.
Season 3 had some moments, but was a failure in general terms.

I think all seasons have their high and low points, but I'd probably rate season 4 the highest. There isn't a single episode I outright hate, though I still can't watch the part in Equestria Games where Spike tries to sing.

Season 1 returned 8.19/10
Season 2 returned 8.46/10
Season 3 returned 6.43/10
Season 4 returned 7.26/10
Season 5 returned 8.00/10 (yea, I thought it was weird too, but numbers are like that sometimes)
Season 6 returned 7.25/10

Figured I'd share since I have data, even if I haven't processed everything for a full presentation yet. Just keep in mind the numbers don't always mean what you might think they mean when you're lacking context!

Season 2 and 1 set the standard for how the characters should be and should act.
There were tons of memorable songs and everything just felt genuine.
I am not saying this because of nostalgia, I really feel that the first two seasons were the best because they felt more refined.

While season 3 was shorter than all the others, I still enjoyed it a lot, and the crystal empire was quite entertaining.

I for one love Starlight Glimmer, I have no idea why so many people on this board have such a problem with her.
I thought season 5 while kind of dull in the later episodes; was made really great by the introduction of Glimmy.
A character being the very representation of how communism doesn't work, and being reformed in doing so, is a great message for anyone.
Might I add I also thoroughly enjoyed slice of life.

Season 7 is okay thus far.
I feel like the voice actors really aren't into their characters as much any more.
Rainbow dash sounds strained as fuck, and applejack is sounding more like the cunt herself.
I guess ashleigh is finally getting throat cancer from doing her cunt voice.
other than the unenthusiastic voice actors, I like season 7.
The latest musical number was great.

Season 6...
What a fucking disaster.
That new little shit baby alicorn is just really intolerable and doesn't make any fucking sense to add to the storyline.
There are many episodes that I just found myself unable to get interested in.
The premiere was trash, that shitty dragon episode bugged me, but at least I jacked it a few times to that shit blue dragon.
Hearth's warming tail was boring af, and the prank episode was dumb.

Season 4.
Yes I am going to be butthurt like everyone else on this fucking board.
Purple smart getting wings puts this season in dead last.
But it would have maybe made it in the semi-last spot if not for the shitty episodes this season had.
Flutterbat, pinkie apple pie, filli vanilli, and the sweetie bell one made me cringe.
