if we are trying to keep them in the show tone, either 'mudponies' or 'earthies' for those ponies that were unfortunate enough to be born without wings or a horn, 'coneheads' for unicorns, 'stripes' for zebras, 'birdbrains' for griffons would be appropriate I guess, maybe 'buzzards' too, I cant think of anything better than 'featherbrain' for pegasi, its not good, but its all I have.
