GUARANTEE you it will be the same or even worse than The Emoji Movie. The critics don't want to see cringe. They won't put up with the girliness of this franchise.

Sometimes I wonder if threads like these are bait, and I'm somehow falling for them by replying. I miss when trolling wasn't this elaborate game of 'I'm being retarded ironically, so replying to me is the joke.' Can we go back to Glimmerspam, so I know what to ignore?
But if you are serious, you really need to lurk more, dude.
>girly things are cringy
Sounds like we've got an 8 year old for an OP here. Watch out, the thread might be infested with cooties.

It's ok, he was never in danger of being taken seriously.
Ever.
At all.

It's probably from outsiders coming in. Those mlp movie trailers and their comments and large amount of dislikes indicate that people still have not gotten over cartoon horses all this time.

I don't know. I think a lot of people underestimate the star power in the movie, plus all of the shilling that Hasbro is/will do. I mean, just look what they did with Trolls last year.

I don't think the people hating MLP would have watched it even if hating it wasn't a meme. I just don't see that demographic as someone who'd see it normally. I think the largest obstacle that Hasbro needs to get past is the ponies themselves, really. No matter how you cut it, when someone hears 'My Little Pony,' they're going to think it's a show for girls. Shaking that stigma and marketing it as a family movie that anyone can see is going to be the problem.
