I liked the episode and it made good points but it would have made more sense with a redone ending. No pony was telling them that they need to be perfect.

Fluttershy answered her criticism by saying that it takes repeated attempts to change one's personality, rather than drastically changing altogether at once, which was probably the most reasonable part of the episode.

in that aspect,any autist should admit that you don't overcome that flaw overnight.It's been like two years in te show's canon and the progress is pretty noticeable for Fluttershy.
And even now,she has certain stages of fear at times but at least,she faces them with virtuosity
