I don't really watch a ton of reactions but I do far more enjoy when someone is consistently talking and giving their opinions throughout the video rather than just silence, faces, and noises. I dunno it's like watching a directors commentary, the media itself that they're discussing/reacting to doesn't matter you've seen it already, so a consistent flow of input and thoughts is more entertaining to listen to.

The problem I have with raritydash is that his laughter is much louder than the video or his comments.

Luffy is one of my current favorite reactors. He has good emotional reactions, half-decent commentary, and minimal autism. RarityDash is the only reactor without facecam that I can stand. But, agreed, the volume of his laughs is a bit much, and his post-episode commentary is never worthwhile. Applegeek is just too much the same laugh over and over; can't stand it. Then there's Andy Reacts, which I feel was okay at some point, but now he spends too much of his video talking baout things that aren't the video and has Patreon delays, so fuck him. Equestria's Reflection used to be my favorite. They were young and a lot of them had crap reactions or seemed autistic, but they had about 6 people in every video, so there was a lot of react to get, and at least one of them was usually enjoyable. But they dropped off, so bye to that. My current favorite is probably PonyWatch, as I get three reactors for each video, and they have diverse but entertaining reactions.
