Damn it I'm so conflicted. I've been on this ride since early 2011, but I've never gone to a con or even to a meetup. In 2012 or so I revealed my powerlevel to a few close friends and family (which I cannot express how much I regret doing that now, though turns out one person I knew at the time was also a brony (yes I called myself a brony back then)). Anyways other than that I've never had any IRL interaction with anyone else related to MLP.

I also have severe social anxiety so the thought of going to anything like a con is completely overwhelming (I'm ok in groups of about 3-4 people. Beyond that is when my brain turns into a faggot). Technically, it used to be *cripplingly* severe social anxiety, like, even going to the store and shit, but after seeing a shrink for a couple years and some meds it's now just regular severe anxiety. But still.

That said I feel like there's not going to be very many more BronyCons, and somehow it's something that I feel like one should experience at least once in their lives. The fandom's already on the decline, I think once the movie flops, it's just going to decrease at a more rapid pace. How the fuck can I get my faggot anxiety-ridden ass out the door and to BronyCon next year (I know there are other cons too.... but I feel like the Original brings in an extra special crowd)? Money and time are no objects (I'm a grown ass adult with a job with vacation time). Some part of me wants to go to a /mlp/ meetup at BC, but I'm pretty sure I'd end up hating you all.
