ITT: Times the comics were actually pretty decent
If you can't think of anything, talk about a moment that pissed you off the most

I miss Ben Bates.
>>30687637
>>30687642
Would've been nice to see him stay.
>>30687667
Not 100% sure, but I remember this one going over well when it was storytimed.
>>30687612
>Times the comics were actually pretty decent
Anything Fosgitt made.
>>30687673
>Maud and Rarity on the cover.
They must be fucking.
>>30687667
came here to post this

Again, not sure about this one with other Anons, but I thought it was okay.
>>30687731
This one is great till the last few pages. Then it turns into the second criteria in the OP.
>>30687727
I love how the comics and legend of everfree basically confirm that Pinkie is on a constant acid trip.
>>30687737
This arc seemed to do okay.
>>30687612
>when Price still put all of his effort into the art
>>30687612
I'll do one better and cover both:
Loved - Celestia letting Spike try to get them out of the cage and be a hero even with Celestia being able to solve the problem faster
Pissed - Luna just losing it with Spike and shout him down after asking for his help in the first place with a dragon related problem
Loved - Mayor Mare way of dealing with Applejack when AJ came to city hall to complain about land taxes; latter hinting she could be mayor after the lesson
Pissed - Twilight refusing to back AJ up, even when she was physically assaulted
Loved - the mane 6's involment in the very first arc and how it felt like a grand adventure
Pissed - how the mane 6 barring Twilight got captured so easily by Bug Queen with a wave of magic, twice I think

That one was a great relief after the start of that Friends Forever series.

Not as bad as the S6 finale were she BTFOs everyone, off screen no less
>>30687637
This story deserved to have been adapted as an episode for the cartoon.

>BOHOHOHOOO SO INTELLIGENT XD
As usual the writers from IDW prove to be the most boring, pessimistic, pseudo-intellectual idiots the comic book industry has ever seen.
if anything, comic threads confirm how plain bottom-of-the-barrel dumb everyone here is
"i liked thing because (mountain of text showing how elegantly the whole point of thing sailed right over this guy's head), also I clapped and lol'd heartily at (really really fucking obvious contemporary pop-culture reference)"
>>30689489
Still better then what Marvel and DC are doing at the moment.
>>30687612
is that from the FF#30?
because it's one of the few times where Cadence doesn't act as one dimensional
>>30687685
Reminder his artstyle is fucking fine.
The problem is he is a lazy shit.
>>30687801
The celestia and spike friends forever being so good is the only reason I kept up with the comics as long as I did.
>>30687823
I don't get why people hated the first friends forever so much.
>>30689698
this

Isn't the Crystal Empire literally unimportant aside from someone keeping the Crystal Ponies happy?
Even Manehatten would be a better post with regards to political clout and respect.
>>30690039
love from CE spreads through entire Equestria
>>30690039
Plus, I don't think it's about political clout. It's about Cadence worrying that Celestia only made her a princess because she's an alicorn and then stuffed her in the middle of nowhere where she can't do any harm.
>>30690039
I think celestia mentioned it as having influence over the ponies throughout Equestria when she was telling Twilight about it for the first time.
>>30689698
>Let's completely trash the pilot of the show!
Try again.
>>30690062
But is that important politically? Any pony could do the job, basically. Hell, even Ponyville has the Friendship Table, which solves actual problems.
>>30690077
>middle of no where
I think that is a worry about political clout, then. If I was a Princess, I'd want to be somewhere important, not a place that I literally should only need to visit on occasion to jab the Crystal Heart with magic.
>>30690089
It's still utterly unimportant. They had to base the Olympics there to give it a reason to exist to the rest of Equestria.
>>30689697
After the first 5, it was extremely hit or miss, with a bunch having no plot to speak of. You'd have better luck clicking the first link after searching the character tags on fimfiction.
