You shouldn't be a "brony." If you like the show, you can just watch it and talk about it with other people who like it. You can enjoy it without being a sperglord who turns it into an "identity" and shoves your weird hobby down the throats of people who don't give a shit.

I love this show and I'd highly recommend it if you're really considering watching it, but don't get into it for the fandom.

Try watching it in German with English subtitles if you don't like the voices. I find German really cute and enjoyable, although the VAs aren't as spot on (ponk is good tho)
