If I were to go after women in real life,there would be expectations that need to be tempered especially with the dating scene being as fucked as it is.

Her life is really sad. This emphasis on her destitute life style is an interesting dynamic for a kids show. I feel like the message they are trying to portray with Sunset, about enjoying what you have and not envying what your friends have, is something that might go over their heads. But still, it's nice to see a kids show move away from the normal materialistic characters and having a more realistic character that kids who are poor can relate to. It shows kids that you can still be a "princess" without being rich or materialistic and that having nice stuff doesn't define who you can be.

These are being animated by Boulder Media instead of DHX. The music videos are by DHX which is why they look so much better.
