I wonder if that village in the desert is where well get to see more races kind of like a valerian thing with all kinds of different intelligent races and species you know?(if we see a figure that looks human shaped I'm guessing that it means humans are canon or maybe it could just be a very tall creature I don't know)

When ever I see the map of Equestria I see pic related. Just an exaggerated version which highlights the major locations. Proportions are off and there is no details, it all is general.

Seeing how many cities and towns parallel or serves as an analog to actual towns with in the Americas. I always envisioned that Equestria was more or less just that, an analog for America itself.

From what I know, Equestria is basically Australia/USA who own it's own continent(What's a Canada?), And there's still land that may connect somewhere, like west of Luna Bay(Land north-west to Applewood) or the rest of the Griffon Isle. For all we know Equestria is small compared to the Griffon's island, and we still don't know where the 3 tribe come from. Maybe there's a frozen and dead Pony Europe somewhere out there.
