“Not really. He's really not doing well, has a lot of machines hooked up to him. His body started failing and the doctors told him he doesn't have very long. Not sure if there's much they can do.”
She seems slightly surprised. Not happy or sad, just surprised.

“Yeah. I don't know much about him but it doesn't look like he's got a lot of reliable ponies around him.”

Her expression changes to a solemn one. You don't let that slide for long, and rest a hoof on her shoulder.
“Before you think it, it isn't your fault. He shouldnt've lied to us, and whatever he did must've been pretty bad to drive his friends away.”

“Wallace, you got anything for us?”
>Regarding the lantern? I don't. It's a relic, that much is obvious. What I'm not certain about is it's maker, it's purpose, or just how much power it has locked within it. Whatever the case, it's safer here than in the possession of those crazies from Carrion.

>For now, yes. In the meantime, the two of you should focus on that last mission Peter had assigned you. And I'm sure you'd like to visit your home and check things out. Peter is in no position to give orders in his state, so I may as well. Question is, what are you planning to do next?

“Since the weather is clear I guess whichever is closer. The casino we were supposed to get to is dead in the middle of the city, and it looks like the cloud can be entered from any direction, so I guess we'll go home first.”
You turn to Misty.
“If that's alright with you.”
>Yeah, sure. Getting a bit homesick if I say so myself. Besides, we gotta check up with Peach and Phil.
“Alright. So it's settled? Head home, then into the cloud?”
>I guess so. I doubt 200 bits could get us much here, but if the pay is good for scouting out the cloud, maybe we could treat ourselves a bit once we get back.
“We deserve a treat, I think.”
>Definitely. I'll start packing up and we can head off.
Without forgetting to say your goodbyes to Wallace, and making sure everything is in order before you leave, you find yourself at the front doors of the prison. It felt like you've stood here more times than you can count, weighing your options and taking your final breaths before being thrown out into the fray once more.
