You know, pics like these are all well and good, but I actually think I prefer the fat pony pics that at least attempt to maintain a semblance of equine anatomy. And my idea was basically that Trixie, in her ongoing quest to do good and turn over a new leaf, manages to save some town in Equestria's heartland from some rampaging monsters. The town wants to reward her as a result. They're poor, but they are incredibly fertile and productive, having abundant crops and generating lots and lots of food, particularly of the carby variety, bread and grain and such. Trixie, initially resistant, decides she'll allow herself to indulge, and she stuffs herself silly.

The trouble is that when Trixie is again invited to indulge, she finds she can't resist. Something has woken up inside her, and she seems to have a deep love of stuffing her face. The town invites her to stay as long as she likes, and Trixie, in a fateful decision, agrees. Days turn into weeks, weeks turn into months, and Trixie eats and eats and eats, her initial love of eating growing into a full-blown gluttonous hoggishness.

Then, a long time later, nobody's heard from Trixie in ages, so Starlight or Twilight or somebody goes to her last location. This happens to be the town, and there they find Trixie, fat as a hippo with her face buried in a pie. Or something like that; grown obese from her own greed and nothing more.

I'm looking at this >>30630969 and Graphene's last pic of fat AJ and I've realized I have never seen some kind of the novel story, where the pony like AJ or PP or Twilight are gradually gaining weight and even if they do their best to not get fatter, their rumps are still getting bigger and softer. Novel not making this sexualized, but focusing on the emotions, of the worries about the butt getting to big and on other ponies supporting or teasing.
That would be nice to read something like that.

Well, in these threads I sometimes use "greed" and "gluttony" interchangeably. After all, gluttony is just greed for food.

That gluttony, that greed, is for me one of the hottest things about fatties, whether ponies or people. There's even a bit in that story where Celestia eats somebody's hat because she thought it was a pastry and couldn't resist. That total lack of inhibition regarding food, that lizard brain need to eat without end, is one of the more interesting aspects of fat ponies to me, and it shows up in that story. The idea that Celestia eats and eats because she can't not eat is great.

This picture reminds me of a dark and twisted fatpone story idea we once had, involving Trixie and heart attacks.

I actually had a bit of an idea for a feeder/feedee story that's slightly morbid. It would be a take on the "Trixie takes control of Ponyville with the Alicorn Amulet and fattens up" thing.

The idea would be that Trixie would demand that she be treated like a queen, and only given the most decadent and satisfying food. The townsfolk find a way to twist this into a slow plan to destroy her. They start concocting the most high fat, high cholesterol, high calorie dishes they can, and they try to make sure that Trixie is stuffing her face with them every hour of every day.

Trixie gets grossly fat, and the fatter she gets the more she becomes a slob-- but, also, the more her health deteriorates. Eventually she's a total hog that's too fat to walk and is sweating even when she's sitting down, and still they feed her now-endless appetite.

Finally, one day, it's too much: Trixie's fat-clogged arteries reach their breaking point, and she has a heart attack. Maybe she dies then? Or more likely, while she's going into cadiac arrest the townsfolk tell her they need to get the amulet off to treat her, and she agrees to take it off, thus saving the day.

Yeah, THAT one. I suppose the less-morbid version is that Trixie simply gets so fat that the Amulet pops off from her neck. But I thought in the episode they establish that the Amulet can't be forcibly removed from her, and that she has to willingly take it off for it to come off her. Hence the Ponyville ponies forcing a situation where she'd ask for it to be removed. You can sort of appreciate the internal logic.
