Just had a dream with Aria and Sonata in it (of course they looked a little different). Was back at my old high school with some modifications. They were standing among groups of students who were all talking, waiting for class to start outside the building where my class was. A professor of mine was talking about those design-of-the-future ecohouses with grass roofs and solar panels, and seemed to be expecting more questions or discussion about it. No one was raising their hand, so Sonata dutifully filled in the silence by trying to ask a question, but she more or less just restated the last few pieces of info the professor gave, and was fumbling for a question. Aria leaned over to her and said "Why don't you give her something to talk about?" Sonata, bless her heart, said "So does the house give you something to walk about? Er-" and the class just laughed and laughed. Aria smirked and said "Wow..."

I wanted to talk to them. So badly. But I had nothing to say. How do you even talk to girls like those? I guess I could've asked "Where's Adagio?" but I get the feeling the answer either would've been "Who are you?" or "Who cares?"

I vaguely remember seeing a game back in the eighties that had a comic i could swear had been made by 2000AD artists.

I have a question for the drawfags. Vidya such as Dawn of War have customizable colour schemes where you change the red/green/blue balance and apply it on the unit. The texture files themselves are greyscale (white mostly). How is the colour applied?
I want to make a set of facial expression textures that I'll be able to quickly colour and apply to an EqG model instead of having to make said set in a hundred similar shades.

depends on how your handling your textures. you'd have to set the material in a way that you would allow you to set a parameter that would then allow you to change the numbers to set the colors.
when working with custom uv'd textures it becomes a lot more difficult depending on the program your working with because in most cases using a custom texture wouldn't allow you to do that. unless your program has a advance material system.
not sure how you'd handle the facial expression textures and being able to flip between them. I'd imagine you'd have to set up some sort of flipbook texture

Thanks. Yes it's her second star. I don't have a poly budget so detailing is all over the place and I don't know where to cut corners, but I generally try to keep it simple (the poof is going to be mad heavy in polys though). The stars will be textures.
The front locks were a bit tricky because they are different from front and side (from the front they are the same but from the side a lock is over the ear instead of the face depending on which side is facing the camera) and because the first attempts looked like ram's horns. I'm happy with the end result.

My Siren next gens with their mothers.

This is a part of the siren lifestyle in which after a certain amount of years, the sirens come together to present their daughters to each other to establish dominance. After this, they will live together with one of the mothers being the head of the group depending on who sired the best daughter. Some time after Rainbow Rocks, the sirens split up seeking to move on with their lives despite their lack of beautiful voices. Weirdly, they found it easy to survive in the human world without their song. Apparently, humans were willing to give up a lot to pretty women.

Aria: She moved to another state, using her looks to get into high end places and date rich men. She used her connections to get close to celebs and then blackmail them for cash. She then used this cash to get close enough to find a sire for her daughter. Her original target was Shining armor, since he was a high ranking Police Officer but was more interested in his wife since she was an alicorn in Equestria. She got herself invited to their house, roofied the woman’s drink and slept with her. She left town soon after, with neither of them ever knowing something was off. As she was carrying her child, she used her body as much as possible to line up some prospective hubbies. They were all older men, widowers who wanted companionship. She used that to her advantage and managed to give birth safely. Her latest hubbie is her youngest one yet, he’s around his late 40’s. Aria likes him better than most but had him sign a prenups so that she can have custody and money when she divorces him. She plans on setting him up to look like he was cheating on her.

Note: The doll Ardent is holding was a gift from her latest papa. While all the other papa’s were either distant with her or too doting, her latest papa was just nice to her. He offered her rides on his shoulders and jokes when he knew she was bored of all the grown up talk around her.

Adagio: She stayed in town, cause her sire was there. She showed up at Sunset’s house, drenched and alone seeking shelter. Sunset initially refused but decided she wasn’t evil enough to leave Adagio to die. Adagio claimed to have been abandoned by her sisters and seeking the kind of redemption Sunset got. Sunset believed her and tried to help her become a better person. After a while, they grew close and Sunset fell for Adagio. The siren would never admit it, but she too fell for the former unicorn. Still, once she got pregnant, she stole Sunset’s money and left. She moved to the next town over, since she wasn’t used to being anywhere too far from that town and lived off the money she stole. Months later, she gave birth to Rose, which both disgusted her and filled her with fear. Male sirens were a ill omen and while Adagio wasn’t one to believe in old legends, she knew some were true. Things started going wrong after that. She got arrested for credit card scams and was locked up for a few months before getting out on good behavior. She then stole her son from the orphanage he was sent to and lived mostly on the run. She worked low level jobs to get by and sent her son (daughter to everyone else) to school but paying some drug addict to act as his mother when needed. To this day, Adagio blames her son’s existence for why her life has gone so wrong.

She was working at the restaurant as a waitress when she met Sour Sweet. Some customer had been harassing her, trying to peek up her skirt and get her to come back home with him. Sonata was not as assertive as her sisters so she wasn’t sure how to refuse him any more firmly than she already had. All of a sudden, Sour Sweet showed up, defending Sonata from the man. The man tried threatening her but then Sours brother’s showed up, beating the shit out of the guy for messing with their baby sis. Sour and Sonata soon became friends and later got together. While she was the first to find a mate, her sisters demanded she do the blood ritual since the conditions had been met. She however refused, not wanting to kill the one she loved just to get her voice back. Aria attacked her, leaving a scar while Adagio held her back. Their head told her that it would be best not to contact them again until their daughters were grown, else one of them might kill her mate just out of spite.

I can relate. It was so damn annoying when the companies saturated the market with WWII games for years. Once all the nazis were dead, they brought them back again as zombies and released more games. And you couldn't complain about it either because people would label you a sympathizer.

But no, feminism is relevant. It's the only belief system in human history where the males of the species are actually reviled and held in contempt even by their own mothers. At least the matriarchies of the past valued men as a workforce/military and understood that without both men and women their population would die out from lack of births. Only a feminist looney wouldn't see the problem with a species' birthrates being so uneven that the birth of a gender is both a rare occurance and something bad.

By all sociological accounts, matriarchies are the last thing a feminist would like. Unlike patriarchies which consider women valuable for being women, matriarchies consider them only as good as they can be wed to sons. Also, nearly all matriarchies in the world are based around grandmothers who had lots of children.
