thoughts on waifuism?

I used to do it and then I stopped caring.
It just doesn't interest me anymore.
If I wanted to obsess over something that isn't real I'd just make a tulpa.

I've thought about giving it a try, but I don't think it's for me. My favorite character tends to change every so often and I don't want to have a waifu for a month then dump them. I want to keep my options open if I die and go to the promised land with real and not real women Also, I want to remain relatively mentally stable irl
As much as I want to better myself for the off chance I go to Equestria when I die, I can find other reasons to motivate myself. Waifuing just isn't for me
