I will present you the not so honest and not so nice things Hasbro/Dhx/Lauren/writers decided to sneak inside FIM and didn't expect anyone to catch onto them. Because in the episode they never explicitly addressed these as bad things. They never got called out for this toxic bullshit.
Let's start with that contradicting ending letter between these two episodes.
Ticket Master

Anyway, I don't get your point. That was obviously intentional. That was the whole lesson.
