The Tumblr was better.

I like how Max didn't bag the fandom when he left. He's a cool guy.
Yeah and his style of animation really worked for the characters.
The first ones were actually good but then it took a nosedive into DEEPEST LORE, 2deep4u edgelord territory.
He did an excellent job at it in my opinion the transition was abrupt but it worked in the end
Apple.mov is the only one I like. The rest are too grimdark.

>bag the fandom
I showed my non-brony friends the .MOV series and they fucking loved it, they still quote it to this day.

I need to go back and watch all of them again, I only remember the first one. But Max has always been one of my favorite independent animators since then. Love his Brain Dump series.
I'm the Power...punch...Kid!
Max is supposedly going through a pretty rough spot. He also disabled his monthly Patreon payments (so it's set to per episode now) and said he would re-enable it "if/when" he's able to make more. Sucks because I had just become a patron about a month before.
It's too bad that all the good, actually talented fan creators are getting out either by choice or due to life situation. I really liked/like almost everything Max has done, including Brain Dump which I think is actually his best work since his old stuff relied a little too much on the shock value. His new stuff is actually well written, funny, and strange in a good way.

Hopefully he's able to get back on his feet but it's really too bad what happened to him.

What *did* happen to him? I heard that he was about to be homeless or something. Was that true or just some BS?

The Jappleack spinoff was goat too.

He went to the hospital while living in the US, which probably cost him $4-$6, and then the adpocalypse happened and Youtube revenue vanished.
Medical bills are the #1 cause of financial hardship in this country.
