>the show and fandom are still alive
>>30551031
>5 years later, I'm still here
Yeah, it never ends.

It's kinda funny how whenever there's a hiatus everyone says the fandom is dying. No matter how many times you lose interest in this stuff you end up back here sooner or later, and that goes for all levels of this pony shit. In fact, shit is the perfect word for it, because it's like a stain- this interest, whether you wanna call yourself a horsefucker, a brownie or what have you, is a shit stain on us all.
The ride really never ends. People unironically saying it's over will be saying the same exact thing a few months from now.

20 years from now, you'll still remember
And you'll still like these coloured horses
>>30551247
>the show could potentially celebrate its tenth anniversary still on the air
>>30551031
Unlike the Apple parentsI'm going to Super Hell, aren't I?

It's not that it's over, it's that it has shrunk to a very small subset of people left. Going to things like cons for the past 10 years has shown me fandoms dying (i.e. get small) and mlp has almost all but disappeared from the con scene.

This.
It never truly ends. I stopped watching for 3-4 years, but I never quite left the fandom stuff.
Mere minutes ago, I finished watching Three's a Crowd for the first time, and for a few brief moments, it felt like 2012 again.
I can only imagine we'll keep coming back. It hooked us for a reason, after all.

>mfw i realize it's been 3 years since i regularly watched it too
Well screw you too, Anon.and before people call me a fan of the fandom, note that I said regularly. I just kind of do it whenever at this point, but I still watch it.
>>30551031
Yea, barely.
Oh look, the doomsdayposters are here. I remember first seeing them like 4-5 years ago.
Although it is shrinking a bit, it's more or less stabilized. And MLP has a large presence at every con I go to.
I do miss the S1/S2 days though, but maybe that's just because I was younger.
>>30551319
So I'm not the only one... that's... actually kind of reassuring.
>>30551441
Yep, we're both stuck on the ride. No matter how long we wander off from it we'll find ourselves back here, discussing pastel colored horses with other adults eventually.
And I wouldn't have it any other way.
>>30551435
What cons are you going to that you see a lot of mlp stuff anymore? The last 2ish years, the merchandise and cosplayers for mlp have dropped a lot. In the artist alleys, you never really see posters, plushs, or figures in any numbers.
>>30551435
>implying cons matter
Still just as much porn as there used to be as far as I know.
>>30551502
>other adults
>implying we aren't young grills pretending to be grown men
